熱帶庭院飯店(Tropical Court Hotel)

Booked here as a last minute resort. Arrived near to midnight and got a room thanks to the gateman/security. There were not many parking spaces but I secured one: if anyone has problems parking in small areas then you may won't to avoid this hotel. My room was clean. There is ONE socket in the room which is double. So...make your choice - charge a device and watch TV or don't charge your phone don't watch TV and plug in the microwave and warm fridge. And I mean warm fridge whilst plugged in. The security gave me directions to the nearest store so I could buy refreshments due to him not being able to sell me drinks from a locked fridge behind the reception desk and no cups being available for the water dispenser near the front desk. Anyway, I purchased cold drinks from the shops and placed them in the fridge I plugged in before I left for the shops, and low and behold.... When I woke up they were HOT. The toilet is the same height as one found in a primary school for 5 year olds. The toilet also leaked. I vacated the room by 8:30am. I had to get out of there. If you desperately need a bed over night before making an onward journey I would recommend it as it's quite close to the airport, other than that, the recommendations stop there. You will not be comfortable long-term here for a week or two weeks. For what you get the rooms should be cheaper. Definitely not recommended for disabled persons, although there are ground floor rooms the person would struggle using the toilet. I paid 10,000jmd for the night. It's more like a 4,000jmd room.

Signs said they had breakfast yet they did not. They make you pay for a key. there’s no housekeeping old building. Dark halls.

Hello and thank you for your response. I would like this matter to be escalated asap because both of the locations had severe issues. The first one in Montego Bay would not allow me to honor my reservation. They stated that although they see the reservation in the system, their manager was not at the location or answering their phone. They told me they would refund me as soon as the boss comes in and they would contact me and then they asked my cousin for cash money. They are scammers and they take advantage of customers and you let them. Please fix this matter at once.

While this is a very dated and old property, the staff provided prompt and excellent service and the pool was the perfect place to spend the last day on vacation before flying out the next day. The location to the airport is very convenient.

I maded a reservation whit internet business. When I arrived the hotess don't want to accept the confirmation of my booking. She told me to have my credit card and charge me again the room I have already paying. When my holidays finish, I have to contact the internet booking business to explain the problem, they refund me. Becarefull, when tropical court hotel recharging the room I rent they make me paying 20$ more than what I already made with my reservation. Becarefull, I got fooled.

They stole from me by lying and advising that I had not paid (through *******). The room wasn't the room i requested, and it was dirty. They said we could receive a complimentary tea in the morning, and nobody was there when I went at the times they suggested. When I couldn't find my receipt, they did not honor my refund request; however, if somebody did something bad during their stay, they would be able to prove that person was there during those times. Terrible all around.

1. It is convenient in location. 2. When booked from *******, They don’t get the notifications nor confirmation that you have secured booking. I had to show them the proof of receipt and send it to them in order for them to know which type of room was paid for. 3. There’s also Key “deposit” fee, which wasn’t stated on the site when booking. 4. The room was comfortable enough for my one night stay but a little more TLC needed especially when it comes onto the scent “it was kind of musty”. Overall…..PERFECT for flight cancellations or just a quick sleep over for a night

Very good for the price,they could use some new bed linen bathroom was clean just need a little bit of new grouting around the base of the toilet, staff was friendly..checking system need to be upgrade. Very close to almost everything will recommend this property

I booked prepaid through *******.com but hotel refused me at check in unless I paid them again. That they have no relationship with ******* I showed them my bank Acc with the actual withdrawal from my account They said I have to pay them and then fight with ******* to get back my money. The experience was terrible terrible terrible And the property is even worse Don’t go there
