Cozy mountain yurt on an organic farm

Our cozy, private, rustic mountain yurt is a 30’ foot space located in an upper field tucked into a wooded hillside. Views facing east are great for watching the sunrise and a kitchen and outhouse mean you’ve got everything you need to get out of town for a few days.* The location provides a serene, intimate getaway for couples, artists or anyone looking for a bit of mindful downtime and introspection. The yurt is insulated and can be heated by a wood stove. There is only an outdoor shower here unless you are staying for 3 or more nights then we can offer our indoor shower at our barn. The space Surrounding fields are available for tent camping should you want to host a larger event and use the yurt for its kitchen and gathering space (the furniture can be removed). The yurt and its verdant surroundings are great for day-long wellness retreats, sound baths, yoga workshops, art classes and more. A recently renovated barn is also available to rent for events, and package deals with the yurt, catering and/or floral services are available. A fully equipped, indoor kitchen is located just a few feet outside the yurt. A drop-toilet outhouse is also nearby. The yurt has a queen-sized bed, twin bunk beds, a dresser, two night tables, and two couches and the kitchen has a breakfast table with four chairs. Guest access During snowy winter months the yurt can only be accessed by all wheel drive vehicles, though parking at barn is approx 100 yards away. Hiking and biking trails are just outside yurt entry ramp.
