Average level for the hotel , but the price is matching to the environment, so it is not a problem

My son and now daughter in law chose this for their wedding day. It was perfect venue. There is a large car park at the rear. We stayed for two nights. The room was large and very clean the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and nice to see a place that serves food on a hot plate not one that is cold half way through. We had a buffet meal in the afternoon and bbq in the evening. Both highly recommended. Facilities were clean and together highly attentive staff this made the stay excellent. Five stars to the staff.

Booked in for afternoon tea We had a Groupon coupon as a Xmas present Rung hotel to book in all very simple and receptionist extremely helpful On arrival shown to our table asked if we wanted tea or coffee Glass of fizz came along with our teared cake stand full of mixed sandwiches ,scones mini cakes and and a mini fruit jelly pot Waitress explained what was in the sandwiches Very good service and the room was very pleasant Just a couple of points Need to provide Roddas clotted cream for scones Hotel although vey nice it’s just a little old fashioned Grounds are great especially for an outdoor summer event Would visit again to try evening meal or Sunday lunch

Took advantage of a Groupon Voucher for a 3 course fixed price meal plus coffee for 2 at just over £21, from a cheerful greeting from the young lady on reception to a superb 3 course meal made a very pleasant evening , lovely attentive staff and well done to the Chef- can’t wait to do it again.

Went for a family dinner! I didn’t touch mine awful mushroom soup salty so that didn’t get eaten neither!!! N we off now to get my son a pizza cos he’s starving n started to cry because he was hungry!!!! Didn’t even get a roast potato in his! Told him not to eat that chicken

My husband & I went for an evening meal & both chose from the fixed menu. I had soup for my starter which was very tasty but when the young waiter brought my bread bun he had his thumb on the top of it to keep it on the plate so I did not eat it. The food was lovely, I paid a £2 supplement for the double burger with chips & could not eat it all. It was a very enjoyable evening but I thought £6 for a pint of cider was unreasonable & expensive!

From the moment I arrived, staff were very friendly and professional. Big thank you to Maureen, who helped carry my case to my room (8). Room was clean, but a little attention is needed in areas- stained tea/coffee table, worn carpet, broken tv control, body wash/soap needed - room was huge! Breakfast- this was amazing - good quality ingredients, staff were very attentive, constantly asking if we needed more coffee etc. Grounds and gardens are immaculate. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Had a lovely meal here today , food was really tasty nice and hot , complements to the chef . Staff were pleasant and helpful , ( Josh our waiter was very attentive without hovering over you . Kind of waiter I would employ ) Everywhere was nice and clean /tidy . Would defo recommend and we would return .

A belated Christmas present for over night stay with dinner. Bottle of prosecco included. Nice room. Lovely staff. Great evening meal. All food home cooked. A couple of drinks at the bar with the friendly young barman. A good night's sleep..and finished off with a full hearty breakfast!
