Heerlijk rustige plek. De tenten zijn eenvoudig maar goed voorzien. Je bent midden in de natuur dus wel wat insecten en geen airco, maar dat is ook de charme er van. Een interessante wandeling gedaan met Solomon die werkelijk alles weer van de natuur en de omgeving en vol verhalen zit. Wij hebben de safari gedaan met een gids van het nationaal park, maar als je de mogelijkheid hebt kun je ook met Solomon gaan. Het eten is heerlijk (van alles veel te veel voor ons) en de bbq in het donker is onvergetelijk. Verwacht dus back to basic naar de mooje omgeving, ervaringen en het vriendelijke personeel zijn dat meer dan waard.

Abbiamo soggiornato agli inizi di Agosto e sin dalle prime ore del safari siamo stati coccolati dal personale che lavora presso il Camp. Siamo stati accolti all’ingresso del Parco dalla nostra guida naturalista Heshan che con la sua bravura ci ha condotti per il parco fornendo sempre risposte alla nostra curiosità e arricchendo l’esperienza con tanti dettagli sugli animali che vivono all’interno di questo parco ( siamo riusciti addirittura a vedere un rarissimo gatto selvatico ). Al termine del safari siamo stati accompagnati al camping e li’ l’esperienza da meravigliosa si è trasformato in un qualcosa di unico e irripetibile ( aperitivo, cena sotto le stelle, camminata mattutina, colazione ). Una struttura degna di 5 stelle. Complimenti a chi ha creato questo camping e chi si occupa della selezione del personale.

Wat een fijne rustige plaats! Even terug naar de basics maar dat hoort er gewoon bij :-). Een super goede service, ‘s avonds een diner bij kaarslicht voor 2 midden in de natuur, ‘s morgens het ontbijt op dezelfde plaats. Deze mensen doen echt alles om het onvergetelijk te maken! Vraag zeker op Safari ook een gids mee, dan leer je echt veel bij, en zie je echt alle dieren zitten die wij zelf anders niet zouden zien… @Heshan thanks for the explanations, the wonderful drive true Udawalawe NP! For always a good memory!

I had the great pleasure of participating in a safari tour in Sri Lanka with our guide Heshan, and I can only say that it was an exceptional experience. Heshan was not only extremely knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Thanks to him, I learned a lot about the local wildlife, especially elephants and various bird species. His explanations were always interesting and informative. The camp itself was excellently organized. From the accommodation to the meals, everything was perfectly planned and well thought out. The tents were clean and comfortable, and the staff was always helpful and friendly. A particular highlight was the morning safari, where we were able to observe not only elephants but also a variety of exotic birds in their natural habitat. Heshan could answer every question and had an impressive knowledge. I can recommend this safari tour and the camp to anyone looking to experience an unforgettable adventure in nature. It was a wonderful experience that I won't forget anytime soon. Many thanks to Heshan and the entire team for these unforgettable days!

Heshan was a wonderful guide, he told us about the wildlife in Uduwalawa National Park and we were very pleased. He also took us to elephant orphanage during feeding time and informed us about the procedure. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed the ambience which was awesome. And warm hospitality by the staff is greatly appreciated. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Though it is safari camp included every basic needs, which made the journey comfortable. Safari was facilitated by the staff. Highly recommended.

What a superb experience that evening and night. I was welcomed and treated like a princess. The tents are very well appointed with their own bathroom. Dinner, which was delicious, was served by candlelight with a lovely wood fire at the start. Thank you to the entire Salomon team: Lakmal, Makita and all the others, who take great care of me

Great experience over all. Food - except barbecue dinner which was ok, food was great both breakfest and lunch were tasty and plentiful Tent - clean, sturdy - no issues here Safari & guide - while safari tend to be about luck we had some share, circa 20 elephants, 2 crocodilles, birds, buffallos and a lizzard of sorts, both driver and guide were professionals with good english My only issue is: while camp is inside (or next to) Udawalawe, entrance is about 20 min drive, that would be ok, but nobody told us about it, so we did not get our windbreakers (suffering from cold due to bad AC) and on top of that car it got chilly pretty fast (0530AM€, so beware

Great camp with friendly staff and great food. The tents are nice with good beds and with a good shower. Diner (BBQ) in the open air with a campfire was very tasteful. The afternoon Safari we had with Salomons was a good experience. We saw loads of birds with a good explanation and we saw a lot of elephants. He took te time and we had great viewings. Although it was scorching hot. The evening it cooled down and it was enjoyable in the tent.
