We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was busy, the pool and kids play area was a welcome addition for the little ones. Rooms basic but clean and all you need, it was quite warm in the rooms but the hotel has supplied electric fans.

We had our wedding here in September. Couldn't have picked a better venue. Dean the wedding co-ordinator and Breda the reservation manager were amazing and so easy to deal with. The ballroom and ceremony rooms were outstanding. Food was delicious with huge portion sizes. Staff were so helpful. We honestly couldn't have picked a better venue. Bedrooms were spotless clean, huge bathroom and the breakfast was great, big selection to choose from. Would definitely recommend it to others

We would just like to say a big thank you to the two lovely women working on reception from Monday - Wednesday this week. They were very friendly, welcoming & accommodating. My little boy has Autism & ADHD and they were very understanding of the situation. I asked about kids club for him and we were reassured he would be fine and could attend and he ended up having a brilliant time, he loved it! This is our 4th time staying however our first where our son was old enough for kids club and since his diagnosis. We were able to move to the sensory room on Tuesday and it was amazing, it was a big hit for our son. From the staff, rooms, cleanliness to the bar staff and food - everything was amazing. A very child friendly hotel we would recommend to anyone. I would just like to say a thank you to the girls running the kids club too they were great with all the kids and gave us great reassurance. Very friendly & approachable. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Football club dinner for 200 people. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Staff were patient and very helpful when trying to sort our IT issues!

My family and I recently celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday in the Toulouse suite in the Hillgrove. We were just delighted with everything from the food to the service we received all evening. We had kids in our party and nothing was too much trouble. The waitress who was looking after us was so polite and accommodating. We will definitely choose the Hillgrove for any future family get together.

Great 4 night day at Hillgrove. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. My room was clean and updated. Great amenities, including the lobby bar and grill. Easy to walk into town Centre to enjoy the museum, pubs and delicious restaurants. I definitely recommend Hillgrove and Monaghan being part of a vacacation in Ireland!

During our recent stay attending an event in Honour of A Project my cousin from New York was Hosting. From the moment we arrived the Lovely welcome at Reception, Room allocation and check-in, Lunch and the Evening Reception & Meal was exceptional. Our Room & Bathroom was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, All amenities catered for. Tea & Coffee facilities, Hairdryer, Ironing Board, View of The Cathedral in the distance, and location was great so close to the Town Centre. Breakfast was great lot's of choices of Hot & Cold Food. It has lovely Spa Facilities which I used early morning. All the Staff were extremely friendly and the provided an excellent service in all areas. Thank You all for a most enjoyable stay. Hope to return again soon.
