Booked apar**ent E22 with host Daizy. Most disingenuous person. Had several bad experiences. Price and quality mismatch The facilities are sub standard, f&b is outsourced and overpriced with basic items not available eg Jam. Pool was filthy.

I used an agent.I clarified to confirm that amenities are changed daily agent was told yes.Upon checking in,i reconfirmed myself and the recptionist said yes.I paid fpr my full stay.Following day am now told the truth:- That amenities changes after two days. That water provided only upon check in rest of days you buy. This was quit unprofessional not to disclose such before receiving money. I believe there are other same standard and same cost alternatives which explain the unprofessionalism with Cowrie management.

Beautiful place to stay, its near the beach, the one bedroom apar**ent was spacious and smelling amazing. The food from the hotel was delicious too. also loved their customer services and will book again any day.

As I chose the upper scale apar**ent (penthouse) that has all the benefits, I gave it a 5 star review. Might have been 4 star. Pros :amazing view (upper floors), huge rooms and space. Crazy appliances. All you need for up to six ppl vacation space. The beach access and pool are great, diving area right on the beach, with nice veriaty of dishes (at reasonable cost). Service is good. I am on the fence regarding transportation, as there is limited tuk tuk/ boda boda outside the perimeter. Safety is high. Beach is clean. Cons: the place is clean, but room cleaning is not done unless asked specifically. As usual when you leave the perimeter toward the beach, expect hassle from beach boys and others. And it's a bit pricey. Some tour offers being arranged (ie wasini/shimoni) are better done outside. Not all actual operators are good and price varies.

Awful Place. Avoid this place at all cost, the environment is good, the hotel is nice but the workers are something else! Nosy, arrogant!!! The restaurant is something else. Don‘t waste your money there!!! Being from Nairobi and my first time in Mombasa I expected something different, a good experience. Everyday I was here I felt more miserable. Plus the Wi-Fi is awful

Not a good place to stay. The employees are not discreet and are always gossiping about guests. People just don’t mind their Business here. And the restaurant, the food is sickening, Don’t try the burger. Room service is okay, everything else is okay. Employees just need to mind their own businesses.
