Nous sommes descendus au Tamarind conseillés par des amis et ce fut une réussite. Nous avons apprécié la très grande chambre de l’appartement avec terrasse et la piscine quasiment pour nous seuls! Juste une porte à pousser pour aller diner au restaurant voisin et le restaurant de la piscine très sympa. Un merci spécial à Grace à la réception qui a été particulièrement efficace pour que notre séjour se passe bien malgré un changement.

Always a good time at the Tamarind. Fantastic food, views, swimming pool, safe Kiddi playing area, rooms are fairly sized and most apartments are well spaced. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling to the coast for both work or pleasure.

Halima and Esther were the most awful front office staff. I have visited the place below and Steve made my booking for 165 which I stayed in before only for these two ladies to tell me since apartments are owned by individuals I cannot choose the one I want... they take me to 257 and i asked what's good about it and Halima said the view. She forgot to tell me she was selling a leaking apartment with a cold shower to me that was not well maintained and had unironed bed linen. Esther said Steve was too junior to make a booking like this. Why involve a client who is impressed by one staffs service and keeps in touch raise such politics. These 2 ladies were pretentious and had pathetic customer service as they thought they knew it all and showed me another old sub standard apartment not to my liking. In apt 257 tried to have an evening shower and it was cold, a plumber came and said he sorted it at 10pm and by morning still cold. Maintenance is truly an issue. 2am woke up to use the apartment number 257 bathroom and the whole floor had water until my bedside. I had to call front office and we were busy putting towels and getting house keeping to clean it until 3.30am - 4am. Steve and housekeeping sorted it and the GM was helpful sent him the messages he was aware but clearly had to wait for morning. Emma of the dhow was helpful but we booked the dhow from Nairobi on Thursday last week and was told due to low capacity they would confirm if my friend and I can go. No one confirmed we saw the dhow leave from the balcony of 257.... another booking they dropped the ball on. To be honest tamarind need better front office staff, Halima and Esther are atrocious!!! The in house dining team were so pleasant despite the frustrations. Steve of reception needs to be promoted he was trying to sort leak issues in the wee hours of the morning. The GM Joab was apologetic but to be honest needs a better support team. Overall I will never reccomend or come back. For such a heritage brand and family business its truly a let down. Sleep deprived and the overall experience made my business trip so disoriented.
