AWON HOTEL MIRISSA

Homely

当日の朝に予約したのですが、快く迎えてくれて、いろいろなアドバイスとお手伝いをしてくれました。 他の観光地にも近く、ホテル自体も良かったです。

The hotel is much, much better.

The facility is not safe for elders. The access road is not sealed, poorly lit, and slippery when it rains. It so happens most of the time. Within the premises there are too many obstacles to walk, the stairs for upstairs are not covered, and they are slippery when wet. The upstairs floor is not levelled. The dining area is infested with mosquitos. Air conditioning did not work in my room, and when I pointed to the owner, he tried to shrug off. On the positive side, the beach is nearby, the owner helped with hiring transport to the airport, and pointed me to a good Sri Lankan buffet restaurant.

Our stay at Awon Hotel was really good! The rooms were decent and comfortable, and the hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. The best part is the location, it is very close to the beach and most of the main attractions in Mirissa. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything, especially when it came to arranging transport and other activities. I highly recommend choosing Awon Hotel if you are visiting Mirissa
