When we got to the property it was closed for renovaton. How can they sell rooms when they know they will be closed, they should have informed trip.com so trip.com doesn't put the rooms up. Eventually the property owner moved us to her brother's property. However, when looking at the cost of the new property the room was much cheaper than how much we paid for Secret Mirage almost half the cost. Very disapointed that this happened.

great to stay here because of just nearby the secret beach

I stayed at this guesthouse from February 25 through March 11, 22026. The guesthouse is located away from the main road, up on a hill, which means it is still within walking distance from the main Mirissa's attractions, but away from the noise of the main road, bars and crowds. The view from my balcony on the ocean and the lighthouse was the highlight of every morning, and you can see the fishers' harbor from the breakfast patio. The guesthouse is owned and managed by a married couple - family-oriented, welcoming, warm and very supportive. Jan has many contacts and recommendations for activities in Mirissa and can arrange tours at or below the market price. Smily is truly a wonderful keeper of the place - in terms of cleanliness and the spirit. They have said in one of the conversations that they want the place to feel like a family home, and this is truly so, they are doing a great job at it. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the sense of safety and security at their place. The guesthouse has been recently renovated - in a very good condition, definitely no mold (which is a big problem for the island), very clean and neat rooms and general area. Hot water is solar-heated, but there is a reserve electric heater also. There is a full-size fridge on the second floor for the guests to use, and Jan is bringing ample water bottle supply from the city for the guests to use. Laundry services, taxi, dinner reservations, etc. - all are available through them as well, if required. I used the opportunity to order my transfer back to the airport in Colombo through Jan, which was more affordable than the official booking price through airport-affiliated services. Due to the flight issues in March (my connection was through Dubai), I could not leave the island in time as planned, and Jan and Smily managed to extend my accomodation for a few extra days, as well as helped resolve all issues as I was working on plan B for my return home. I really appreciated their support in my time of distress. In short - comfortable place, wonderful family, good location, excellent service. Highly recommend.

The hotel is not accessible by most vehicles, you need to park at Secret Beach car park at the bottom of the hill, you will then be picked up by the hotel owner in his tuktuk. Walkable access to Secret Beach, the harbour and Mirissa Beach. The hotel is clean and the owner and his family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, lovely family.

На втором этаже есть балконы.Вкусный завтрак, за 14 дней повторений не было. Расположена на горке, поэтому с океана всегда лёгкий бриз. Немного на удалении от центра, поэтому тихо, бегают обезьяны и павлины. В пешей доступности три пляжа с разной инфраструктурой, две семейных кафешки с местной домашней кухней и соками. Нам очень понравилось.
