米雷波伊克斯羅萊飯店(Relais de Mirepoix)

We staid 3 nights at this beautiful place. It is no longer a hotel but has been turned into a chambre d’hôte de charme, which surely is not an understatement. Rooms are beautiful and the service is worthy a 4* hotel. Never had such a luxurious bath towels! Love them! Continental Breakfast with everything you could wish for. Lot of nice things to visit in the surroundings and have to have dinner at L’autre Jardin! Really worth while. Petty the bar and restaurant are no longer open but understand they are working on it. Staff is lovely and very helpful! Thank you Sabine :) @the new owners: you have a wonderful place in a beautiful city! Well done!!

Our arrival couldn't have been nicer. The hotel entrance is in a one car wide road and parking is in the cathedral square 20 yards away. We stopped our car by the entrance to the hotel dumped our bags which were immediately collected by Julia and taken into the hotel. The entrance to the hotel lives up to its advertising the décor is lovely, we were upgraded and this too was the case in the very spacious suite we were taken to. When settling in I need to go to the bathroom and after washing my hands I could not empty the basin because the plug was not connected to the plunger. I noticed that there was a huge range of high quality toiletries on the shelf in front of the twin basins – including shower gel, shampoo. I wondered what was in the shower to find three brackets but no toiletries and then when I closed the shower door there was a loud clunk from the lower hinge. I then went into the otherwise beautifully appointed bedroom to see a bare wall above the bed with two screws in the wall but no other adornment. It was a lovely big bed but we like to have individual bedding so asked for single duvets. We got a duvet each but they were for double beds so very wide. When we locked to door at night the security chain was distinctly fiddly. Going to bed my wife found the duvet too wide and too hot. We tried to turn on the air conditioning but failed. Then next morning as cars were driving down the little road by the entrance we found the double glazing was just not enough to keep the noise out. I made a list of problems. After an adequate but not remarkable breakfast we had a discussion with Julia who came to the room, saw the issues took the list of issues and apologized. She couldn’t sort out the A/C controls either and as she was leaving the outside door handle came off in her hand. In fairness when we returned to the suite after lunch everything except the dodgy shower door hinge was fixed, there was a bottle of wine for us. Before we went to bed and the staff were turning down the beds they closed the shutters on the windows. We slept much better. On leaving there were again profuse apologies from Julia and, without asking, a significant discount on the bill. We think that Julia did a good job recovering from a difficult situation. However talking to other people in Mirepoix we understand that there have been a number of recent changes of ownership and financial issues during covid. There are clearly maintenance issues and it is difficult to recommend this hotel until the attention to detail and management of maintenance is returned to a standard one would expect in this class of hotel.

The restaurant is situated in a lovely old hotel in the old city of Mirepoix. Lovely dining room and friendly staff Recently has had new owners Starters of smoked trout and scallops were good One main of beef and lamb were good But my friend and I ordered Turbot, which was a mistake. The appearance was not good grey and obviously frozen. The taste was not pleasant and very dry, not what we had expected I ate most as was not wanting to spoil our evening but did inform the head water we did not find it pleasant Our coffees were given to us free of charge We live locally and would like to try the restaurant again sometime as we go to mirepoix often

Lovely hotel, amazing staff and an incredible restaurant. This is the second time I have stayed there. Eric and his staff are so helpful and very nice. This is the perfect spot to stay to visit the beautiful town of Mirepoix and the amazing countryside.

We recently stayed in the Relais Mira Peis for two nights during a cycling holiday in the region. We booked 3 rooms and they were all large and comfortable, with big bathrooms, including bathtubs. We were able to park right outside the hotel and the staff were really helpful in bringing in our bikes and storing them in a secure room for us. We chose to have dinner at the hotel on the Sunday night when they do a BBQ. This was a great decision as it was delicious. A short walk to all the shops and market of Mirepoix. We ended up eating in the restaurant again on the Monday evening as not much was open in town - we were all pleased with our meal. Overall we'd particularly like to say that the team there are so friendly and helpful. A great choice for a stay in Mirepoix. The cycling in the area is also very good. One minor comment would be that they need to amend the description on Trip Advisor about there being a pool. Would stay again.

The room was four times larger than your average hotel room and it was spotless, as was the bathroom - yes a room, not a cabinet. The towels were an inch thicker than the usual towels you get in an hotel. The bed was comfortable and the area quiet. If yo can't be happy hear you can't be happy anywhere

1ere déception, pas de piscine bien ,qu' annoncée sur le site.2eme déception la chambre ne correspondait pas à la réservation,mais aucun problème, nous avons eu 2 belles et grandes chambres pour le même prix.3eme déception, panne d oreiller pour le serveur petit dej.

Une magnifique adresse .chambre superbe et cuisine délicieuse, à recommander !!! L’hôtel est situé au centre et dispose d’une magnifique terrasse où vous serez très bien accueillis . La ville est magnifique .
