塔斯曼假日公園 - 米蘭達

A good first stop over for our campervan trip as it is 1hr away from auckland airport. We checked in after opening hours (they close pretty early) but we could easily find our way and the check in instructions were clear and easy. Plenty of flies attracted to light at the campsite. Our camper was filled with flies and spent a long time chasing them away. So do be careful when turning on the lights when moving in and out of the camper.

Fabulous place, very clean toilets etc. Receptionist was really helpful - advised us about bike hire and the best route to take. Stayed in our RV but we had everything needed in site - the hot pool was brilliant! Very quiet site at night, stunning views.

Omg dont normaly leave reveiws but these ladies and there amazing care an attenion deserve to be outed. Dana,Christine. the lovely tall blonde tatoo goddess and all the other staff made our stay without them it would have been a good place with them it was a whole better holiday. Didnt feel i was staying at others place it felt like we were staying with very good friends money cant buy that sort of holiday. Just beware if you leave your parsely plant outside your motor home while at pub for dinner you may in the dark try to pick some and find a staff member has swapped it for a plastic peace lilly lol funny buggars real plant back in motorhome safe and sound. We booked online for a group of 7 and had to pay full price to confirm booking ($330). We were meant to camp this weekend but a massive storm is due to hit so we rang on Monday to ask if we could change the booking to another weekend as being in tents while it is storming isn't safe or fun. However the manager on the phone was extremely rude and said we couldn't move the booking or get a refund because we didn't call 14 days prior to the time of our booked stay. Now, there is no 14 day weather reports available and we rang as soon as we were sure the weather was going to be crap. We didn't actually want a refund as we really wanted to try the campground after seeing and hearing such good reviews. However we weren't allowed to move the booking either. We have lost the full payment for the campsite which is extremely disappointing given our reasoning for wanting to move the booking is weather which is out of our control. I understand they are a business and need to make money but it seems unfair to not move our booking to another weekend where they would still retain our money. Utterly disappointed and now because of the way we have been treated we and our family will not be experiencing the campground.

The place was so beautiful and perfect for family get away . They have an excellent spacious accomodation with a clean comfortable bed-spacers. Clean geothermal pool and spa bath for relaxations close to Auckland . We had a great birthday celebration experienced to this place and wanted to come back again. Highly recommended for everyone.
