Residence Inn Sandestin at Grand Boulevard

I always search TripAdvisor for reviews of accommodations while traveling. This Marriott property consistently places in the top of those reviews. We choose to stay here when we visit Sandestin because the staff are professional, welcoming, and accommodating. Each room is updated and very clean. The beds are comfortable. The exterior is well lit, has cozy spaces to relax, and a pool area that is gated for safety. It also offers breakfast.

Katherine with Breakfast staff sets your day off right, excellent labor service and professional customer service. Great place. Very nice atmosphere and a lovely neighborhood. Definitely will visit again, the local stores and restaurants are great.

Have stayed at this hotel several times. It has gone through major renovations over the last two years. The upgrades were badly needed but through it all the staff worked hard to meet the many challenges and satisfy everone in general. They are about the best group of people that we have come across in the service industry, without question. Now the renovations are almost complete the hotel is transformed into a warm welcoming environment The breakfast area has a good selection, well stocked and excellent cleanliness. I have no hesitation on returning and encouage guests to remember someone follows after you and the cleaning staff have limited time at each room to keep the rooms as excellent as they are today.

Great location for our 1 night stay visiting a friend in Sandestin, but the hotel is average at best. Room 226 had a smell to it that we would not have tolerated for a 2nd night. Staff were nice, but nothing above or beyond. Okay breakfast spread. For all of the money in the Sandestin area, you'd think they could up-level this property!

We loved this hotel! We stayed there while working at the hotel and were so pleased. THe manager was wonderful and helped us anyway she could. I have never seen such consistancy from housekeepers! Every room was clean and had all equipment. Breakfast was good and plentiful. THe pool was great since it was very hot in July.. I would go back to this residence in even if I was not working there. Close to beach too. We have stayed in many residence inns and this one was by far THE BEST!!

Under SERIOUS Renovation, It would have been nice to have been notified PRIOR to arrival. This place should be SHUT DOWN UNTIL COMPLETE! Large Rolls of carpet and paint cans in hallways. Breakfast served in a small guest room with extremely poor choices. We asked for a financial concession due to all the MESS...we were told no. Carts are left out in the rain at the "new" front office which is a small makeshift office. Honestly we were VERY disappointed and should have been given atleast a DEEP discount.
