Considering this is a motel located in middle of nowhere right on the border of Nevada and Utah on US Highway 50, the loneliest road in America, the accommodation and facilities in general are perfect for what you need when visiting Great Basin National Park, which entrance is located less than 10 miles away. Decent food and breakfast at the motel restaurant, and staff is courteous and professional. I stayed two nights and it was exactly what I needed. I would stay at this motel again. There is also a gas station right next to the motel and electric vehicles charging station, which I did not use.

Putrid smells of rotting food emanating from the sink set the tone for this tired motel. Screens on the sink drains might have prevented most food accumulation in a kitchenette room. Price was high considering facilities, but competition is low and the location is close to Great Basin National Park. It serves the basic travel needs, so set expectations low and you will be fine.

It's pretty much the only option if you are not camping and want to visit Great Basin Nat'l Park. We booked a room for two but they never included two hand towels or two wash cloths. They just couldn't get it in their minds that two people might want to use their own washcloths. There is no tissue box in the room, it is poorly lit, and there is no lotion - just a dispenser of shower/hand soap. The restaurant is bad. My hot beef sandwich had very good gravy but the meat was deli shaved beef. My pancakes came with hard pats of butter. if you can find another option, stay somewhere else.

You pull up to the motel and instantly think "Bates Motel!" but we were surprised to find it better than we thought. It was good for one night. Beds were only double and a little hard and no breakfast. The restaurant on site was pretty good - not a lot of options in the area :)

The rooms are very basic, but clean enough. Bed springs aren't very new or strong, so the bed slouches in the middle. Not much insolation in the walls, so noise carries. The front charged us, in effect, double even though we told them that it's prepaid with ******* and they looked it up and said yes, they know that. So you better check your bills for that. The Shell electric chargers on site do not work with Tesla models (even with adapters).

Yes it’s pretty much in the middle of the desert, limited options for anything. The room itself was clean and there was no smells. The bed was actually comfy and we slept well. The shower was adequate and there was enough towels. Overall it was a good nights stay.

I stay at the Border Inn twice a year when driving between our homes in California and Utah. It's not a fancy place, but it is friendly, and dog-friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant is surprisingly good.

The room was adequate for a few days. The beds were descent, and the room was VERY clean. The walls are all wood paneling, and the lighting was very dark (1 of the 2 lightbulbs was out). The shower/bath has been updated, but the floorboards in front of the bathroom and under the toilet have rotted. The toilet tilts and the tile around it was stained and cracked.

With limited guest dinner was served in bar area But breakfast in the restaurant No tv's in any of the rooms.
