W hotelu spędziliśmy jedną noc wracając z Włoch. Nie mam pojęcia skąd tyle pozytywnych opinii na temat tego obiektu? Może stąd, że średnia wieku to 60+. Hotel wyglądem przypomina senatorium albo akademik. Standard absolutnie nie zasługuje na 4*, nawet nie na 3*. Pokoje niby są po remoncie ale urządzone jak w latach 90tych. Tak samo łazienka, w dwóch kontrastujących kolorach z brudem wokół prysznica. Hotel szczyci się basenem i strefą spa. Po zameldowaniu okazuje się, że trzeba za to dodatkowo zapłacić a dzieci od godziny 15 nie mogą już korzystać z basenu. Wybraliśmy ten hotel właśnie ze względu na basen i chęć popływania z synem po długiej podróży. Niestety nic z tego. Rano wszystkie jacuzzi zajęte przez pary w starszym wieku, które z obrażoną miną robią dla Ciebie miejsce. Więc, żeby popływać godzinę przed wymeldowaniem się z hotelu (basen otwarty o 9, wymeldowanie max o 10:30) musieliśmy zapłacić 700 koron. Warto dodać, że dla klientów z bookingu cena za basen jest wyższa! W wielu hotelach byłam w swoim życiu ale z czyms takim jeszcze się nie spotkałam. Obsluga na recepcji mało zaangażowana i niemiła. Jedyne plusy to świetna lokalizacja (ale za malo miejsc parkingowych) i bardzo smaczne, różnorodne śniadanie.

De luxe kamer was prima (zeker niet luxe) echter de badkamer was verschrikkelijk. Vies, schimmel op de wanden, in de douche bak, op de douche kop. Ik heb het meerdere malen bij de receptie doorgegeven, echter niemand heeft daar iets mee gedaan. Ook de management team wilde niet reageren. Wat mij betreft Hotel Galant niet bezoeken!

The staff did their best, but the mobile air conditioning is not enough. In addition, some meeting rooms are no longer available. Breakfast room restaurant-under the roof, again no air conditioning.Restaurant and wine cellar-unbreathable, no air conditioning. Rooms-have seen better days. The bathroom and especially the showers could use a good sanitation. 4 *? No way. Lunch and dinner buffets were good. The hotel staff was quite nice. However, the presence of a bathrobe and slippers in the room was nice. Also, the rooftop whirpol and swimming pool with a beautiful view was great.

Everything with the hotel is nice; room were nice, breakfast ok and the rooftop very nice. Restaurant served nice food and the service was friendly. But when we were checking out, they said that the Amex doesn’t work. I had made the reservation with Amex, but I wasn’t able to pay with. Because of this, we don’t have any insurance for our rental car, because they require a certain percentage of the trip to be paid with Amex. Thank you; we are not coming back.

Although the room was a good size, it was not well maintained. Shower holder was broken and obviously had been for some time. Also, black mould on shower sealant showed lack of care as did the mattresses which were stained. Walls were very thin so that you could hear people speaking in adjoining rooms. Worse thing is that room did not have air conditioning and not even a fan was provided. How a 4 star hotel does not offer AC as standard is unbelievable, especially a hotel in the south of CZ where summers get very hot. Breakfast was disappointing - supposed to run from 7 to 10, but if you got there close to 9 or after, then many items had run out.

Although room was clean and adequate, we did not like the comfort in the room. We could not get the heating to work and we left with the feel of want that it could have been more comfortable sleep. We did not use the top floor facilities, so can not comment. Overall, ok.
