We booked 2 rooms to spend the weekend with family at Iaki.Even though the hotel surroundings and facilities are kept clean and in good conditions, the rooms are in need of a refurbishment as most light switched and door knobs are damaged.Staff from reception and restaurant were attentive and quick.Breakfast was good with enough variety to choose from.Dinner at the restaurant was also tasty and with big portions.Hotel provides a private beach with sunbeds free for hotel guests as well as free parking if you're lucky to get a empty spot,Generally a good option, but in need of a refresh

A hotel rated 10. We were very pleased with the SPA area. Also, the relaxation massage services, which I benefited from, were great. Quality staff! The breakfast is very consistent and very varied. I have never met in Romania, until this hotel restaurant Iaki, such a varied menu (breakfast included). In the rooms, the wifi signal is good. Although the night was cool, it was pleasant in the room, we did not turn on the air conditioning. Cleaning very ok. It deserves its stars. I specify that Mr. Gica Hagi was very kind to us, friendly and modest. We will gladly return to this wonderful location!

The most horrible experience in a 4* hotel ever. I could hardly rate it as a 2* hotel. 😪The carpets were stained all over the place, the bed the same😱 the furniture was old and chipped bitting your fingers (I have pictures to prove it and when I complained to the manager the answer I got was "it is what it is". At breakfast, a colleague of mine asked for an Americano and was handed a cup and sent off to "do it yourself and get it from the machine, even that waiter was suppose to prepare the coffee for you. Some food was leftovers from the previous meals. Very unpleasent and rude staff. Your complains fall an deaf ears. Never ever I will return here.

Great hotel and great staff. very friendly and helpful. The only comment I have is that the shower cabin is very small and you barely have room to turn. Also the cabin shower handle was very loose and you have to be very careful when you open and close the shower cabin door. In addition, for a four-star hotel you could have a pen and a notepad in the room for the guests to use if they need to. Other than that- great location, great food, great staff, great service.

We stayed a week at the Iaki Hotel (and were sad not to meet Gheorghe Hagi !) We were very pleased with our room 303 which was extremely comfortable, the bed was good and quality linen. We had a large covered balcony with a sea view which was lovely. The bathroom was also good but need to mention the bath grab handle was coming away from the wall, we could have done with a rubber mat for the bath as it was very slippery and the towels were large and plentiful but over boiled and needed replacing. However it was otherwise a good bathroom. The front desk staff were exceptionally good and helpful and sorted us out the hop on hop off open top tourist bus into Constanta which we thoroughly enjoyed. The bus stops close to the hotel both directions and amazingly was only £2 each for over 2 hours ride. There's no audio though and the provided map was difficult to follow with 100 numbers, but it was fun ! Breakfast was a bit of a struggle, bread ran out by 9.30 most days and one day the bread available was very stale. The orange juice was lovely as were the croissants. The cooked section did not really suit the English palate, the omelettes were like tasteless leather and who eats salad for breakfast ? I absolutely loved the pool BUT there is a children's pool but the children were all in the main pool and in the deep end with water wings on and jumping in so getting a swim at times was difficult. People also put very large inflatables in the pool which again was tricky as they kept tipping the occupants over into the water. I was twice knocked by children diving in. The other disappointment was the lack of collection of plates and plastic tumblers etc - while the 2 pool staff sat playing on their phones. Three parasols blew over during our stay and one hit my husband but no-one came to see if he was ok, he was, but had a graze where the broken off part hit him. It also hit a man standing by the pool but the pool staff just collected it up and never asked if everyone was ok. We ate 3 nights in the Terrace Restaurant which was ok but it was hard work getting some staff to get our order right. To be honest some staff are rather sloppy and it is not possible to tell who is the Manager because that person needs to be about more making sure things are running smoothly. It is a very comfortable place to stay and I am glad we stayed there as it is classy in appearance and rooms appeared to be sound proof. I would stay there again if I came to Mamaia but I hope some of my criticisms are taken on board as helpful to improve the customer experience.

A nice hotel but exactly in the middle of the season they have decided to renovate the fitness center. Also, the service is not at the level of the price. At the pool a lot of noise and rules not respected but nobody from the hotel to take measures. For example smoking or jumping in the pool. The arrogance of some clients should be addressed by the staff in order to provide a good level of service for all. The food is OK but the breakfast is average. The room is OK.
