On the plus side, the room was lovely, clean, and spacious, with a generously sized bathroom and shower/tub. The bed was comfortable. The lush grounds made for a pretty setting. But when we tried to go to sleep, everything quickly went off the rails. This hotel decided to light its large front facade with red accent lights, which shone around the edges of the shades all night long. Also, the air conditioning fan made a double clicking sound every time it cycled on and off...if you're not in a deep sleep, prepare to wake up over and over again. We live in the middle of a city; we have a lot of experience sleeping through the urban din, but we've never been to a hotel that introduces noise and visual distractions inside the rooms. And there were other strange aspects to this experience: the staff was friendly, always greeting us in the lobby, but did not ask how the stay had been at checkout, generally provided info only if you asked questions (besides the name of the wifi network, we had no info about the property, such as a map, in our room), and did not open the front door for people carrying luggage even when it seemed they had a free moment. I don't fault them personally, but I do question what kind of decisions management has made about customer service. Taken all together, this stay fell far short of four stars for us.

The main entrance and check in area smelled horrible, like someone had just gotten sick and they didn't clean it properly. We only booked our stay to use their pool and spa amenities, and asked when the pool closed at check in. We were told 9pm. We get to our room, change to our swimwear, and walk to the pool only to be locked out. We had to call and someone came quickly to let us in. Upon entering the indoor pool, we put our stuff down on a couch and took our shoes off, only to step on a moldy soaking wet carpet in the "patio area" after. The pool and hot tub were both green and slimy. We left immediately. Showering, was also disgusting. There is mold all over the walls. Bugs and spider webs in the corners of tub. Absolutely horrified and couldnt have left quick enough A little disappointed that we spent our only day off of the week here, hoping to enjoy a morning by the pool. We were very wrong

The place looks great from exterior. However, the phone didnt work; internet/TV was unreliable; bedside tables were cheap with broken drawers. Toilet didnt flush correctly (had to hold the handle) The rear facing room was noisy with workers and deliveries which scared dogs - enough to hide in bathroom. They also CHARGE an additional $150 per night for 'possible' room charges - not just HOLD a credit card number like most hotels do. There was no room service. No resort guide. Restaurant and lounge weren't open during the daytime and very limited Lebonese/Mediterranean menu.

We arrived at 12:30am when we were told by the front desk, "you're the lucky ones", "actually you're the unlucky ones." I asked why? The front desk attendant said they had no rooms available. I showed my confirmation and she said sorry we don't have rooms. Was not helpful in the least bit. Left us not able to find a hotel room for two hours. Finally found one 45 minutes away.

It was a horrible experience. The hotel was willing to let us stay 1 night but you refused to change the reservation. Look at the chat . It was a nigh**are and suffering. I am a loyal customer please connect with me.

Our room did not get cleaned the next day. The front desk person emptied our waste basket and provided clean towels. Not what I would expect for $275 per night.

This place is excellent. I would go back again but not in February. The pool was not open, the spa was not open and although the restaurant was suppose to be open, it was not on the first day of our stay. A resort, means just that. It includes the spa, pool and restaurant.

Incredible lobby with a beautiful main staircase. Very relaxing bar and Restaurant with an amazing four-sided fireplace that was burning real wood. Places to sit all around fireplace, relaxing and quiet to enjoy a drink or some food

Booked a one night stay with couples massage. Got to the hotel and found out the next the spa was closed for renovations. We were not contacted beforehand or we would not have stayed here. Breakfast had no eggs…90% of the offerings included eggs so were limited to pancakes waffles or toast. Very disappointing experience at a place that seems to have so much potential. Will not be coming back
