OYO朗蘭茲飯店(The Longlands Hotel)

Don't recommend this place for a family, very noisy, rooms not as described and not cleaned, pictures seems to be for a completely different place.

Poor services and dirty room

Absolutely vile. There were guys walking around my car looking in. There were chavs who were wearing sliders starring at me in reception. I asked the guy on the desk to call me a taxi. He did that and then said please make sure your car is locked. I said what do you mean?! He said it's just for safety. Safety?! I said why is it not safe here. He said some of our customers park across the road. I jumped in my car and left. Awful unsafe experience. Never go here.

Terrible hotel that is clearly not looked after. It's like a 90s youth hostel that's been left to rot. Our room #2 was awful. Dated wallpaper & dirty walls. Tatty furniture, falling apart. Blind had slats missing. Curtain rail but no curtain! Kettle but no cups. Horribly worn bedsheets. A TV that didn't turn on & no remote control either. It wouldn't cost much to improve the look of the room or fix a few things. But there's been no effort whatsoever to do so. Bathroom was clean but uncared for. A broken panel near the toilet. We had a 3-bed room & they gave us just 1 towel! To share? Didn't bother finding out what the breakfast was like. I accept it's a cheap hotel but you still have a right to expect some kind of standard (it's not a 1-star let alone 2). I wouldn't stay there again even if it was free. Any positive reviews must be fake & written by staff.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.no bedside tables, lamp on floor 5 feet away, a kettle on floor no cup or coffee/tea, no lightshades and only one light working, toilet roll WET, handle hanging off toilet, noisy toilet taking 20 mins to refill, light switches looked dodgy, 1 towel for 2 people occupancy, piles of used mattresses in reception area, insisted on taking £50 IN CASH as a deposit for damage or theft in room😆, then on check out had to wait for deposit while they sent someone to check room. No food, no bar. One person turned up and they told him they had over booked he had no room, he lost his temper and he was taken away in handcuffs. This so called hotel is an absolute dump, it should not be allowed to trade. I am stunned that ********** sell people rooms in this pit. Me, a married couple, and another person were all sitting in another hotels bar up the road trying to find alternative accommodation but everywhere was fully booked. Don't even think of staying at Longlands, it's a disgusting hotel.

Mattress was very lumpy and I could feel all of the springs!! It wasn't very clean and no towel was left in the room

Arrived early and asked about the chance of checking in early, discovered me and my friend who’d booked a twin room had been given a double! I showed him my confirmation but he was saying he’s screen says a double and that’s that. I explained two grown men aren’t sharing a double and at that point he said for £25 he could sort it 😡 I refused and told him we’d be back to check in after football match ( reason we’d travelled ). Upon our return he said nothing he could do and give us a key to a double room that was disgusting - no pillows, peeling wallpaper and a shabby shared bathroom. I’m convinced he has DSS permanent residents as it was noisy most the night and had people lounging about who obviously lived there, it just wasn’t a nice place. The only time there was any apology was when i collected my £50 deposit - I think they’d then realised i’d be leaving a review. In summary - resembles a homeless shelter, staff unhelpful, decor in poor state and overall just a no go area. Totally took the shine of a weekend we’d been looking forward to, never again!

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and the owners are gradually updating the rooms. I was in a very nice room with a double bed with the whitest sheets and pillow cases I've seen. The bed was extremely comfortable. The full breakfast was very nice. The lady who was dashing about was very friendly and helpful. A credit to the establishment.
