the room was dirty and cockroaches ruining around , and specially when you turn on the light in the night , the TV has no remote and when I contacted the front desk he brought a remote for other TV brand that doesn't work as well, two night I couldn't sleep because the guest in the other rooms decided to do all night party and play piano at (2:30 AM) the shower is sprinkling very weak water like it was blocked ,and when I contacted the front desk , she said they will fix it ,and no one did !! they kept some path creams and shampoos that was already opened and used previously !! I will never ever stay at the place even if they'll pay me !!

スタッフの方はフレンドリーでとても楽しく滞在することができました。ダウンタウンへのアクセスも良かったです。 ただ、清掃係の方が忘れていたのか4泊中1度しか清掃とタオル交換がされてなかったのが残念でした。2回指摘してやっとやってくれましたが、なぜかベッドメイキングはされてませんでした。

Upon arrival my room was not ready. But they made an effort to have it “ready” when my friend arrived 7 hours later. The staff was super friendly. The room’s floor and walls were not clean. As I exited shower with clean feet and walked to bed the bottom of my feet were black. The healthy breakfast was primarily honeybuns and donettes. The coffee was rarely ready at 7am. There was no where nearby to grab a cup unless I wanted to go to the soul food restaurant. Unbeknownst to me the hotel is in Harlem. The location to the venue (Bayfront Park) was convenient but I felt unsafe occasionally walking to and fro downtown Miami, which was a little over a mile each way. Every morning I woke to roosters crowing and the train and no coffee. One night they threw a party which woke me up at 12:20am. It sounded like they were in the room with me. I couldn’t go back to sleep until 3:30am when they finally stopped talking/laughing and walking around the hotel. The next morning I let them know I didn’t sleep well. I then asked for a late checkout because my flight was later in the evening and I didn’t want to drag my luggage around Miami. They charged me $50 for a late checkout even after not having my room ready, me having to switch rooms, my room not being clean, and having my sleep disturbed.

It is a uniquely decorated space with a classic black jazz musician theme. It appears to be well thought out to carry the theme throughout the property. Even the rooms are named after old original jazz musicians. The complimentary continental breakfast had much to be desired (hostess bakery and thermos coffee). They did go out of their way to make special request coffee for us. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They have managed to make it a quaint relaxing space. There is a outdoor relaxing space in the rear courtyard and a outdoor hallway space that had table and chairs to relax outside the first floor rooms.The only bad part was they had a party with very loud music and attendees that went on until a little passed midnight. We were forced to stay awake until then do to the loud music. I am assuming this is not a usual practice. So don’t base your decision on staying there do to this occurrence. There really no amenities to speak of other than Wi-Fi. There are refrigerators, microwaves, etc in the rooms. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable.

So bad experience because in four nights they don’t change towels or blankets, mattress is very uncomfortable even have roaches.

We stayed in the Madame CJ Walker room. My son and l loved the vibe. The ladies at the desk had to be the sweetest people I have ever met on vacation. They were so accommodating! From their smiles, and greetings to wishing me a safe flight home.

Hotel staff is very friendly, room was not spotless, bathroom condition was not the best, towel and toilet paper hangers missing, the bed was too bland. Area is full of nightclubs I spend a Saturday night, very noisy.
