Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami - Airport/Blue Lagoon

No hemos podido dormir estar porque reserve por equivocación la noche ante y cuando lleguemos hoy le dijimos que había sido un error y que si nos podían cambiar a un pagando algo y han dicho que no que lo cobraban todo no hemos ido a otro hotel pero co pocas ganas de ayudar

More than we expected for a hotel near the busy airport. The sound proofing that the hotel put in place is really working. The hotel is conveniently located to the places that we need to visit. Staff are friendly and courteous. We had two rooms and both were cleaned promptly or on-demand. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. The staff were able to keep the busy area clean and fully stocked. It costs extra for parking but it is expected when we selected this hotel. Thank you for the great experience.

The property is fine. The problem is with you. The manager could not find my reservation. Seems it was transfered to *******. I stood at the counter for 1/2 hr, and was just about to purchase a second room. Luckily, the manager was quite savy and tried a couple of tricks and found it. Not good at all. Not sure if I will book with you all again.

This was the first time we have stayed at the Miami/ Blue Lagoon Homewood Suites. We usually stay in Doral at the Dolphin Mall location, but decided to try this one for a change and really enjoyed our stay! We have dogs and we wanted a nicer area for walking and the walking path on the water was great! I wish they would update the kitchen lighting and add a comfortable chair in addition to the sofa for family seating. Over all it was a great weekend and we’ll be back!

Unit was clean. Front desk friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts items were plentiful although, kept running out of coffee. Elevator was very slow and overall, could use some updating. Lagoon view was nice but a big palm tree right outside our window blocked our view. Could use more seating for breakfast.

Took a shower @ 10:00 pm and water would not shut off. Called front desk, they contacted manager at her home and maintenance come to repair. Maintenance was in room until 1:30 am. Manager would not refund the room fee, nor has ******* advocated for a refund. Been given a runaround--what was the name of the manager, need name of maintenance person, manager has been emailed, did we file an official complaint, etc. Not a restful evening for tired travelers!!

The suites are good with good staff to stay with family, check in was a disaster due that they have me a room that was busy with other family, gave me the wrong time for breakfast and wrong way to schedule the shutter service, but apart of that everything went good
