訪訪客The pool was heated when I booked. I only booked for a heated pool for my sons birthday. The pool was not heated when I arrived. I was lied to by Patty at the front desk who said she would turn the heater on and it would be swim-able by morning. She even talked to the owner on the phone to help guide her. We stayed since we were told the pool would be warm in the morning. The beds are terrible, pillows are worse. Breakfast is free, that is a plus, I guess? In the morning the pool was not warmer and this front desk person didn’t know anything about the heater. She then rolled her eyes, made rude comments and called the manager but didn’t let me speak to management. I was told if I left by 11 wouldn’t be charged for the room. It was already after 11. I again asked to speak to the manager. She never called. Still didn’t. Not a single apology for the lies or inconvenience. Contacted Travelocity and I guess they don’t care either. Best western even said it was a bummer and the hotels reply to them was full of lies. I will never waste my time staying at another best western. Guess it is too much to ask to have management speak to a customer during working hours. I’m excited for the manager to comment here about how I should have notified them ( and I did) or how this was somehow my fault.
