Tolles Hotel. Sehr sauber und das Personal war hervorragend. Auch das Restaurant har mich voll und ganz überzeugt. War ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für eine kleine Rundreise um den Mount Kenia. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung! Nachdem wir zwei Monate im Voraus gebucht und bezahlt hatten (vom Hotel bestätigt!), bekamen wir am Anreisetag (tatsächlich waren wir schon fast im Hotel angekommen) einen Anruf, dass kein Platz für uns frei sei, da noch andere Gäste untergebracht seien!! Ich frage mich, was eine Reservierung und Vorauszahlung wert ist, wenn man trotzdem mit solchen Situationen rechnen muss? Das Schlimmste ist, dass wir dieses Hotel seit Jahren kennen. Wir waren oft zum Abendessen hier und haben auch Gäste zum Übernachten im Hotel untergebracht! Jetzt ist es Vergangenheit, nichts kann uns dazu bewegen, wieder in dieses Hotel zu gehen! Very bad experience! After booking and paying two months in advance (confirmed by the hotel!), we received a call on the day of arrival (in fact, we had almost arrived at the hotel) saying that there was no room for us because other guests were staying there!! I wonder what is the value of a reservation and advance payment if you still have to expect situations like this? The worst thing is that we have known this hotel for years. We have often been here for dinner and have also accommodated guests to stay overnight in the hotel! Now it is in the past, nothing can convince us to go back to this hotel!

We were with a small group - and although I usually book my own accomadation to make sure I get a quiet room, I was very happy with the lovely, light and airy room that came with the group booking. The staff were welcoming, attentive, helpful and very efficient. The bed was super comfortable ( love the little hot water bottels in the evening turn-down!), internet was fast enough for zoom meetings and the breakfast was very good. I did not give the hotel 5 stars due to a ver loud Saturday night event that was rather a problem as it was impossible to sleep - but I have to say the reception were really good and moved us to another room. So my advice is if you are staying over a weekend. check what big parties may be on !

What a gem! Loved my room with a balcony, the food, wine selection & great customer service from the super gorgeous Beryl!! (She belongs on the catwalk in New York or Paris). She recommended a most wonderful meal during dinner (stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon, dripped with cheese). Oooh la la, say heaven on a plate! She followed through with an awesome wine option that I had to have 2...bottles! She is calm, well articulated & great company. Kudos Beryl, you made my sad trip to Meru (funeral) a worthwhile one. The hot water bottle in my bed, was a welcome surprise too!

Worst ever service I have received in a restaurant... took 30 minutes to take order, and another 20 to tell me the kitchen was closed. When I complained I was promised I will get room service but later told my preference ( chicken wings ) were not available. I gave up...

Lovely Hotel and staff. Clean rooms. The food was amazing. I enjoyed my stay so much and would definitely come back any day. I would recommend anyone to Alba hotel any day for room stay, hotel and use at the swimming pool.

Had a great time with my family. We have young kids below the age of 8 and they enjoyed taking a swim, playing the trampoline and bouncing castle while I worked out in the gym that is right next! Will definitely return!

Perfect location, friendly staff., sumptuous breakfast, decent area to have a meal, child friendly, away from town noise, value for money, spacious room.

Comfortable, great staff who are very attentive and efficient and really good food. The rooms do need a bit of upkeep but I understand most rooms will be renovated soon although the beds are comfortable, a range of soft and harder the pillows and cute little hot water bottles at night!

We spent one night to break the trip to Meru national park. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. All the team was extremely welcoming, kind, smiling, accommodating and professional. Our room was spotless and spacious. The pool was calm and clean. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. I highly recommend Alba both for the restaurant and the hotel. I hope we'll be back one day. Visited the place with my friends and family over the weekend. We had the best experience while there, sophy from the front office was soo helpful, purity and Florence from the restaurant were a delight. The ambiance was really nice but what made the experience exemptional was the friendliness and warmth we received from the staff. Overall 10 of 10 experience Looking forward to visiting again.

Excellent services and delicious dishes. Ambient and serene environment I highly recommend for business, gala and couple dates.

Amazing experience the staff go way and beyond to help and are very welcoming. The rooms are warm and cozy, they offer hot water bottles.
