I planned my peaceful escape in Brecon here and could not have been more WRONG about this place. The room was shabby and pokey and the other guests argued constantly. The INTRUSIVE HOST forced his way into my small living space whilst throwing accusations around regarding a supposed altercation with a man. The CREEPY HOST set about searching my private area and was unsuccessful in his quest for other guests as I had spent the whole trip there alone. I did not receive any apology for the invasion of my privacy, personal space or being called a LIAR. Subsequently, I left the premises although I had paid for extra nights . I felt insulted , threatened and most importantly, unsafe. I would’ve been in better hands at FAULTY TOWERS !!!

Stayed for one night in line with work and had everything I required. Nice studio flat, much better and more homely than a hotel room… Information provided re places to visit, where to eat was very good, but I can say that the New Dolphin fish and chips shop just down the road (1 min walk) was lovely.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was honestly the WORST experience I have ever had. I travelled 6 hours to get here. On arrival the property was cold, damp and smelt awful. No hot water, not clean. Owners unresponsive. I felt dirty from the minute I walked in and the smell set my asthma off. The owners were rude and the location is awful. There was a fight happening right outside. I was very unwell after being in this property less than an hour. I ended up leaving and going to stay at a hotel 15 minutes away. Seriously DO NOT book we are in the process of taking this further due to it being a health risk! There is much nicer accommodation available at an even cheaper price. Book elsewhere! The walls are damp and the floor is rotting.
