Beautiful property, wonderful alternative option to local hotels and inns. About a 5 minute drive from Main Street.

The beach cottages across the street are not kid friendly. This house is. Its got a great big yard, a big fire pit, nice kitchen and a large dinning area. Some of our party stayed in the beach cottages across the street and the kids (2 and 4), with their parents plus one, stay in this house. We all gathered at this house after the days activity for a group meal, wine drinking around the fire pit for the adults and airplane flying / soccer ball kicking for the kids. There are not a lot of restaurants in Mendocino that can accommodate a party of 12 with two small kids so this was definitely a good solution for our party. All the beds are comfortable and the upstairs suite is a nice feature. The hosts were very responsive to a minor housekeeping issue. We would rent this house again.

Larkin Meadow House is a spacious and comfortable home situated on almost two acres of private land and conveniently located less than a mile away from Mendocino Village. The downstairs features three bedrooms, one and a half baths, an updated kitchen, and electric fireplace. The upstairs is a separate studio with private deck (with a partial ocean view), king sized bed, bathroom and kitchenette.
