The magnolia suite was a luxurious escape during our exploration of Arkansas. Darren is a true local knowledge font and his blueberry muffins are the absolute best! The Inn was recommended by friends and it is everything they described. Wonderful visit.

A charming place to stay in Mena. Darren and Jillian will make you feel most welcomed and right at home! The rooms are warm, stylish and well appointed; the muffins and other bake goods in the morning were delicious; the attentiveness and warmth from Darren and Jillian were palpable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Really nice place. As many people have already said, they have a vast knowledge of the town and its history. We had the upstairs suite. It has 2 antique twin beds in the first room. In the master bedroom it has a really beautiful King size bed, an en suite bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

A Marvelous Stay with the friendliest, knowledgeable couple as hosts. The home is beautiful, quiet and spacious, chock-full with antique furniture and a gorgeous sassafras tree as accompaniment. The couple were a wealth of knowledge about the area, it’s attractions and great food choices.. Finally, I ate the best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had!! I would highly recommend a stay at this quintessential Southern bed and breakfast Inn!! Elizabeth

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Sassafras Inn! Our room was very clean and comfortable with period correct furnishings. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. They went above and beyond to print out additional information we requested about atv and hiking trails in the area. One of my favorite amenities was the coffee bar! We highly recommend!

Wonderful hosts! Darren has never met a stranger and Jillian with her gentle smile and great baking skills make you feel instantly at home. They go out of the way to welcome you and provide for all your needs. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are happy to provide their expert recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return visit!

The Sassafras Inn is just beautiful. The house is beautifully decorated with wonderful antiques. The host, Darren was so accommodating for us. He even found us a restaurant that was open late for our Sunday arrival. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were well equipped. We will definitely stay again when we travel back through Arkansas. Thank you for a great experience!
