Such a cozy and comfortable stay for my overnight in Mena. I would love to go back! Jo was there to greet me and show me my cottage upon arrival. I had everything I needed and also enjoyed the park across the street. Breakfast was delightful and I enjoyed taking coffee after with Jo and John.

Incredible B&B for a home base for all things to do in and around Mena. My wife and I have stayed here twice now for a little summer getaways, in both the upstairs of the main house and cottage across the backyard garden. Both different, but wonderful. Jolynn and John are gracious hosts - accommodating, warm and great to talk to. They make you feel more like distant relatives in town on a visit than just random travelers. John is a fantastic cook with a wheelhouse including both the savory and sweet (the oddly named “Dutch baby” is worth the stay alone). Coffee is alway hot, rich and fresh. The big old house is next to it’s namesake park, which makes for a nice walk or hang. Most restaurants and shops off the main drag are a 5-10 minutes by foot. All has a sense of place, birds in the morning, fireflies on warm summer nights… already want to return and have it be the same… in fact ignore all this and stick to the over priced cabins and traffic jams of Broken Bow… Seriously though, Janssen Park Place B&B is a must stay.

We flew into Mena Airport to have some work done on our plane and needed a place to stay for the night. We absolutely could not have chosen a better place. The owners are the nicest people ever. He volunteered to pick us up at the airport, and on the way to the B & B, he asked if we would like to stop somewhere for lunch. We invited both he and his wife to join us for lunch, and they graciously accepted. We stayed in the charming cottage, and the accommodations were amazing. The next morning they prepared and served us a lovely breakfast. Their beautiful home is across the street from a peaceful and lovely park. I could go on, but I will finish by saying everything was perfect.

The accomadations were very comfortable. The room was great. And the entire place was very comfortable. It was a pleasure meeting and visiting with the hosts. Unfortunately, I had to leave quite early each morning and missed out on a great breakfast, according to several of the locals I spoke with. This location sets the bar for what a BnB should be. I can only hope my travels will take me here again… especially at a time when I am able to stay for breakfast.

This is everything you want from a Bed and Breakfast. Wonderfully gracious hosts, a beautiful home, and of course, a good breakfast! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The home and the area are quiet. There are restaurants within walking distance. John and Jo are very nice and accommodating- it was a pleasure to meet them. This is a great place to stay in Mena.

John and Jolynn have a fantastic B&B!! This Victorian house is perfectly located in town and appointed with period appropriate furniture. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The bed is very large and comfortable. The breakfasts are first rate!!! John even gave us some guidance on where to ride our motorcycles during our stay. If you need a place to stay in the Mena area, this is your place!!!
