We checked in and dropped things off in our room. We then went back to the car and across the street to the store. In the 20 minutes we were gone. A housekeeper came into our room and *****ped our beds. The housekeeper also took my wife’s purse from our room. I went into the hallway to locate the housekeeper and when I found their cart, my wife’s purse was in the cart covered by linens. This is extremely unprofessional and downright unacceptable. You should immediately contact the front desk when you enter a room and there are belongings there. Why would you take the purse? I assume this person was going to steal. When my wife called down to the front desk no one had been contacted saying a purse was left in the room. What a good way to scare off customers. Management was apologetic and offered free breakfast vouchers. Free breakfast vouchers are the price of a heart attack? No thank you. Will not be giving Hilton any further business.
