馬薩努頓度假村

Great location and amazing experience. Mountain views are great.

🌲 Massanutten Resort: Quiet Comfort, Big Sales Trap Massanutten Resort is a quiet, well-located spot that is genuinely good for families. However, be warned: The "free buffet breakfast for a survey" is a deceptive timeshare sales pitch. This presentation trapped us for at least three hours, completely wasting a significant portion of our vacation time that we could have used for resort activities. **Verdict:** Great location and setting, but the aggressive sales tactics are a serious drawback. Avoid the "free breakfast."

Chambre très propre et tout le matériel nécessaire est sur place.

The first unit we checked into had both adult and baby roaches present. To the resort’s credit, they moved us promptly once we reported the issue, but the timing made the situation especially inconvenient since it was around 10 PM and we had just started settling in after returning late from a wedding event. We were in town for a wedding and spent most of our stay attending offsite wedding events, so we did not really have the opportunity to fully explore or enjoy the resort amenities during our visit. While the staff responded quickly, the experience impacted the rest of my stay. I spent much of the trip feeling uncomfortable, constantly checking for bugs, and worrying about bringing them home with us. The resort offered four park passes as a goodwill gesture, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after the experience, we did not feel particularly eager to return, so the resolution did not fully address the impact the situation had on our stay. We do have a year to use the passes, so perhaps with time we may reconsider. In fairness, our group had three different units spread across the resort and no one else reported similar issues, so this may have been an isolated incident. However, it still significantly affected my ability to relax and enjoy the stay.
