Stayed here for three nights with our four kids in August gone. We arrived after doing a shop for the few days as the hostel is far from a grocery shop. I went to the kitchen to leave the food in the fridge of which there was standard fridge freeze for the entire hostel. It was jam packed mostly with milk - actually 35 litres . went over to the hotel to ask what I should do with my food and they left in their kitchen. every time we needed to get something it was trek after trek after trek and an ordeal to say the least for the staff over at the hotel to get my stuff from the hotel fridge . two days later after being told the first day someone would tidy and clean out the fridge over in the hostel nothing was done , so I took it upon myself and most of the milk was a week or two out of date. WHY CAN'T YE PURCHASE AN EXTRA FRIDGE

My daughter went here for two days with school on TY from meath for 2 nights horrible experience Food inedible, she was sick on way home on Friday and again Saturday as food was so bad she had very little to eat for 2 days and had a long bus journey home, breakfast was minimal and all teenagers were doing two full days of activities at night 9pm when teachers not around common area very “rowdy” unsupervised by staff teenagers left alone by staff teens from two different schools left alone staff dreadful unhelpful, when asked to intervene it was the last week of the season 2024 paid €450 for TY experience… dreadful
