The bunk bed ladder located too near the edge of the table poses danger to the kids accessing the ladder. My daughter bumped against the edge and had a bruise at her back. Otherwise, the day was enjoyable.

A very cool lodge right in the middle of the most gorgeous scenery-lots to do! Hiking, fishing, there's an outdoor education center, or just walking, everywhere is lovely and there is a fabulous restaurant on site.

Escape from it all . Comfortable, peaceful, wonderful environment and activities.

Would definitely return! Couldn’t recommend enough - this place has something for everyone! The food was just unreal, a range of actives onsite or nearby, lovely comfortable rooms and stunning views. We were delighted with our weekend there. Just to note, there’s no phone reception here and the WiFi didn’t stretch as far as our rooms so it would have been nice to know that in advance or be told at check in. The only thing that let this place down was the coffee shop - it’s pretty expensive and only machine coffee, not barista and not really enticing for treats / nibbles.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and had a great time. It was exactly as advertised! We spent a few days in the country, so this was the ideal location. We loved how serene the hotel was and the beautiful views! We took a walk in the morning and enjoyed the coffee at the cafe on site. We didn’t take advantage of any of the spa amenities due to our own schedule, but heard nothing but the best.
