Like several reviewers, we had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the staff were great (especially David) and we really liked the meals (the menu at El Faro in particular was impressive). Sitting outside in the evenings made it feel special (but if we had been indoors it would have felt more like a canteen). We liked most aspects of the garden room we were allocated and thought it was spacious and comfortable. However, the resort is in need of some TLC and was a bit scruffy in places. Our bathroom was a classic example - there was a hole in the tub which had been patched up with filler. Additionally, the plugs didn't work in both sinks. We didn't twig until we had unpacked or we would have asked to be moved to another room. We obviously didn't have anyone next door at the start of the week but things were a lot noisier when it was occupied and we realised that the walls are not too thick. As the venue is advertised as a 5 star resort, we expected a heated indoor pool for lap swimming. The only pools are outside and it's difficult to swim properly. We also expected a better quality tennis court - there were pieces of masonry scattered around and the mesh fence needs to be renewed around the area. We normally go to a 4 star hotel in Madeira so it was interesting to make comparisons with the Sheraton in Fuerteventura. The verdict? Funchal here we come!!
Country house, consists of two rooms with bathroom in each of the rooms, kitchen, living room, terrace, laundry room. Fully independent extended gardens where you can enjoy nature. In the surroundings you will find paths and routes where you can practice some sport such as walking, running, cycling. We have large and beautiful beaches close to home at 10km, white beach ideal for the enjoyment of the whole family. 30 km from the beaches of Corralejo with its great white sand beaches, where your eyes escape and your imagination flies and 100 km from the beaches of Jandia with its endless walk on sand and sea. You will also find supermarkets, shopping center, bars, restaurants. And endless leisure activities for the whole family. The pool is communal and is not in this house, it is about 150m away.
Excellent Service , however be aware that i purchased through trip.com the hotel did try to charge me an extra £100 euros , because the deal i paid for wasn’t the price set by the hotel, however after the Receptionist spoke to the manager , they honoured the price i paid , all in all from start to finish took about 20 mins , the Room with a sea view was absolutely stunning, i thought the room had no electric , however a quick pop to the desk explained that the key card you use to get into the room goes into a slot in the entrance way to turn it on , ( quick suggestion to the hotel maybe explain this when you give out the room cards )
Having stayed in a different hotel previously i didn’t know what to expect , i’m happy to say i will be back , its at least 2/3 minutes walk to the beach , has disabled access which is great , lifts are in the lobby to allow higher floors, they have a chill out zone thats open from 9am which has rooftop jacuzzi’s ,sauna and stunning views over the sea , it also has two pools one inside the complex and another outside,
The breakfast while inconvenient at times having to go downstairs to eat, ( they do have room service however at €10 was not something i wanted to pay personally it was a nice touch though ) was plentiful to say the least they had a large variety to cater to everyone .
The receptionist were brilliant even with a slight language barrier , some are multilingual in any event , my advice learn some words in Spanish helps a lot !
The Room itself was absolutely spotlessly cleaned , fresh towels and bedding changed daily by the cleaners , with little heart chocolate’s was a nice surprise one slight issue for me unless you want to be woke up at 8/9am with the drinks bar i would fully use the do not disturb sign ,
The hotel has a massage and therapy i used the 2 hour service and both the husband and wife are an excellent edition to the hotel , they cater to a range of injuries , we even joked that my back was as hard as wood , they worked in tandem and gave one of the best massages i have ever had and i’ve had quite a few over the years.
There are quite a few places to eat , however the restaurant which is about 1 minute walk from the hotel has the most amazing staff and the food is great, the prices are reasonable to.
Now i know this is an adult only hotel so i was expecting the hotel to be loud in the evenings until the early hours , and while this was at the end of June 2024 i heard little in the way of noise passed 1am.
Being the night owl having the sea view and listening to the sound of the waves at 1/2/3 am in the morning is the most peaceful i have felt , thank-you Ezra Mar for the Wonderful Memories.
All in all it was an Excellent stay , I Will be back thats for sure ,
Thanks to all the cleaners and staff at the hotel , what a pleasurable experience.

We have just returned from an amazing 7 night stay at the Bahia Real, our first stay at a Secrets Resort. The hotel was stunning, from the reception area to the walkways. The main bar had a lovely veranda where you could sit for ages and take in the sea views with the island of Los Lobos over a coffee or cocktail. We stayed in a Pool View Junior suite on the 2nd floor - room was clean, spacious, bright, and had a lovely large balcony which caught the Sun for the majority of the day. Bathroom was lovely too, with an attractive tiling mural. The bed was very big and comfortable, probably more on the firmer side. We found ALL the staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet had absolutely every choice you could think of from hot to cold, fruit, cereal, fish, yogurts, & lots of well made cakes! all in a relaxed environment. We ate at the Canarian restaurant (Chozo) and in the Seaside Grill at lunch which were both lovely with attentive, polite waitering. We didn't visit the Spa, purely because the weather was so gorgeous we wanted to make the most of the Sun but heard from other guests that it was fabulous. Hotel is in a great location, not the best bit of beach but plenty of sun beds to soak up the rays. There is a beach path where you can find a couple of beaches closer to Corralejo town walking 20-30 minutes, which had lovely white sand & turquoise water. Even though more of beach people we did use the pool area a few times which was very clean and pretty, you could always get a sun bed and there was none of the nonsense of people putting down towels early doors!! We will definitely be returning next year for some more Winter Sun :)
SSJA@15zouExcellent budget priced accommodation, 2 minute walk to El Campinario Centre. All the rooms have names, i stayed in ”Cofete” which had a separate private bathroom next door, with a good shower. A big choice of breakfast items available in a hostel style setting. Has a small swimming (dipping) pool too.
If you struggle to fine this place, its easy once you know, turn up the street with a car barrier right next to the Sports Bar...walk to the top and its the very last building on the right.
We booked last minute and came for a week with our 9 year old. Hotel is clean and the food was average all inclusive type. Our son loved all the kids activities in the pool and enjoyed kids disco. We had a lovely week all in all. We asked for a room facing the activity pool and were given one which was perfect. Only negatives were, some of the staff in the bar by the activity pool were rude. Rolling their eyes when you ordered. Also, I asked if there was a room for me to shower at 3pm before we left for the airport. I was told I’d have to pay. 10 euros per adult and 5 euros per child….for a shower. I eventually paid for myself and my child and the shower room was disgusting. Very old. Bath and shower were dirty and stained. Most hotels have a shower room which is available for use with no charge. I was surprised Alua charges so much for a shower in such a terrible room. Complete rip off. I also had to explain to the lady at reception that my husband didn’t want a shower and was told I’d have to pay for him in case I snuck him in, the lady eventually allowed me to pay for just the two of us. I would return here none the less and it was lovely to have some sun
We arrived as a family of three, myself, my step dad and my mum. We each had a one bedroom bungalow. The bungalows were clean, my bungalow had a few ants in the bathroom but to be honest it didn’t bother me, I just used some water to clear them away. The bungalows have aircon but you do have to pay €6 for this, and for the safe. The cleaner came four times whilst we were there and changed the towels three times for me, although I had an extra set anyway(as a solo occupant I still had 2 sets of towels) which was great for me! The bedroom has good clothing space and lots of storage and the sitting room / living room area was spacious. The bungalows have sun beds and a table and chairs for the patio area. The only slight problems we had was the ants, the locks on the doors were a little confusing to start with. I did tell reception that my door wasn’t locking from the outside and before I could get back to my apartment the maintenance man was already there. He showed me how to use the card and lock it and he was very helpful. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel is not gated, saying this there is a fence along the bottom of the complex and along the top of the complex, just not along the road that lays between the two sides of the complex. We didn’t have a problem with theft or feeling unsafe, however as there is a public road I would suggest paying for a safe like we did. We stayed by the pool for a few hours on our last day and didn’t have a problem finding sunbeds, the pool is clean and there is a lifeguard on duty. The pool bar seemed clean and staff seemed friendly (from what we saw). We didn’t eat at the hotel but had a few beers on our last day. The hotel is around a 5/10 minute walk slightly downhill to the town and main shops. You can walk to the beach from both angels leaving the hotel, one side leads towards the town and the main path to the beach, and the other leads you down the ‘side’ road to the beach, near the chipmunks. We had a lovely holiday and would stay in the hotel again.
I've stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this hotel hands down was the best sea view I've ever had, I had a apartment over looking the sea, Many nights I'd just sit on the balcony listening to the waves, The staff are outstanding, it's clean it's friendly and the food wasn't bad at all, 5 minutes walk you have bars and restaurants, walk out of hotel turn left and at the end of the road turn right, there's a steakhouse there which I found was lovely, loads of bars , I'll definitely be returning to this hotel .10/10

It is very clean, staff are friendly and happy to help. where we had fridge and kettle need to have double plug, they was quick and gave me a extension lead to use both together. it a shame bar inside not opened as we had windy nights and we was sat pool bar with patio heaters on which i didnt do.
Lovely that in your accommodation you are told about put your towels down around the pool, that they get removed if not being used so no blocking sunbeds.
could do with some paperwork for you to keep on your visit on what time you choice for meals and also what time snacks available on the all inclusive.
It a lovely touch that you get a towel for you to use at the pool i not been to hotel that gives you them..
Food is good for a 3star only thing would be a problem in higher season is only 1 toaster in dining room.
I full enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again..
YOU ALL SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF XX
I know people have put about road outside but the hotel can not be held responsible for this as it down to council..

This is a Perfect place to come for a cheap and cheerful holiday. Our bungalow was a bit dated but absolutely fine! We were all inclusive but everything you need for self catering which is what we're gonna do next month I think. Not much going on at the resort but not sure about in peak season... Even a game of bingo or something on a night would be good but there was nothing. However, 5 minutes walk to a cluster of bars and restaurants and all English ran and very friendly! Then a 10 min walk to the town which was the same, alot of English and brings a 'benidorm' theme to it all. 1/2/3 euros for drinks very very cheap! We didn't have any house keeping during our stay but that really isn't the end of the world.. They were always a around with their trolleys so was easy to ask for clean towels etc and it's really not difficult to keep your own bungalow clean during your stay. Also considering the price you pay. Food and drinks were surprisingly good actually, however we did have to pay 2 euros for a plastic cup for around the pool, again not the end of the world. Don't book 2* if you want 5*. It really was fabulous and will be returning!!!
