Accueil chaleureux, Les chambres sont grande et propre . Maison de famille typique portugaise bien tenue. Emplacement au top proche mer et métro. Super petit déjeuner. j y retournerais les œils fermés. Endroit à voir absolument Merci Eugenio

Gostámos muito da estadia. Tudo bem organizado e muito limpo. As camas são muito confortáveis. O proprietário é muito simpático e acessível. O pequeno almoço é simples mas bom. A localização é excelente. Recomendo e se voltar a Matosinhos vou ficar novamente na Casa Rietsch.

Je n ai pa pu séjourner en juin 2020 suite à la crise sanitaire car les frontières étaient fermées. J avais réservé 4 nuits avec petits déjeuners du 13 au 17 juin 2020 pour 4 personnes pour un montant de 423.70 que j ai réglé en totalité. Cet hôte ne m a rien remboursé et ne me répond pas. C était effectivement une réservation sans remboursement que j avais fait en février 2020...mais la crise est arrivée en mars...et bizarrement cet hôte à rapidement proposé es réservations avec annulation gratuite dès que les frontières on pu reouvrir... Il pourrait au moins faire un geste...si ce n est les petits déjeuners qu on a jamais eu!

Wonderful stay at Casa Rietsch outside of Old Porto, in beachside Matosinhos. Quiet and 150 mts to beach. Multiple stops on Metro and bus near to Casa takes you into Porto or to airport. Owner, Eugenio, is warm and friendly, speaks many languages and is there at breakfast to welcome everyone. I stayed 2 nights before starting Camino, and returned for 2 nights afterwards. Rented an e-bike from the casa and biked riverside and beach into old Porto. Old Porto is very touristy, so I love the option of staying outside in a local area and accessing town on public transit. Also Uber is cheap - you can go to airport for €9 and downtown Porto for same, takes 10-15mins !! Loved my rooms - nice beds and bathrooms. Lovely to have a big shared breakfast room to meet other travellers that are a mix of tourists and local business guests. Such a friendly place! Get your Camino stamp :)

I booked the Casa Rietsch through the Fish Surf School for 1 Week Surfing lesson. I booked a single room for myself. Pre-Alignment via WhatsApp was very cool and the room is clean and comfortable. In combination with the surf course in Masentinhos it was perfect.

Very good place ! Eugenio is taking care of you The location is very good close to the Ocean, beach, restaurants, etc.. It's a quiet place with a lot of charm The place is full of history and bedroom are big and quiet I highly recommend this place

Very nice hotel. Large rooms, cleaned daily. Breakfast modest (rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, yogurt, milk, eggs, tea, coffee, cookies, apple etc.), but there is. Friendly owner. 3 minutes walk to the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. 3 minutes walk to the metro stop and 35 minutes to the center of Porto.

We had a fantastic stay in Casa Rietsch. It is a tastefully refurbished house with gorgeous original features. My bedroom was bright & very comfortable, lovely linen on the bed, a very spacious bathroom and original wooden shutters. The location in Matosinhos is perfect, a couple of blocks from the beach and just around the corner from great fish restaurants. Porto is just a tram ride away. The breakfast is basic but good. Eugenio was a amazing host. We had a fantastic time there and hopefully we'll get to go back!

Five so far - we are here at the moment - a wonderful old converted villa . Beautiful rooms , great location , met by the owner who was professional , welcoming and friendly . Looks to be set up for walkers , surfers as well as ordinary tourists like us . Very happy we chose this place
