"我沒有住過今天晚上這麼差的酒店，現在凌晨6點，我還沒法睡覺。空調是完全不製冷的，室外的温度18°，但是室內一直保持高温： 第一給了我殘疾人的房間 第二水龍頭的水是很小，而且是那種非常急促的：一打開水就會濺到全身 第三：空調是壞的，悶熱。 第四：窗户不能開啟，空氣是臭的。 第五，床也很不舒服，我一個晚上沒法睡覺。 第六，上洗手間馬桶會反濺的整個屁股都臟掉！ 非常無語可怕的酒店！！一晚上沒法入睡！"

"A wonderful, quiet location with plenty of free parking and an extremely warm welcome,The hotel could do with a little tender care, as parts of it were disintegrating and in poor repair. The window frames, which are unfortunately rotting away, along with slipped, broken roof tiles due to lack of maintenance. We were a little disappointed that we could not order our tasty evening Indian meal from the on-site restaurant to eat in our room after a long day out and about, and instead had to eat in the poorly lit restaurant, so much so that I could not read the menu with the tiny writing and poor design colors. I would not stay again, as what was described as a standard double room on the second floor was in a converted half-eve loft with no view out of the roof windows. The ensuite was adequate, with a good shower; towels, soap and body wash were included, though only one pair of slippers. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, which, in my opinion, was too expensive for what it is."

"Sherif Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention to detail is outstanding. From the freshly cooked breakfasts each morning to the beautifully decorated rooms and comfy beds this place is a real gem. A great host who helped us with all the local information we needed and who spent time with us after breakfast each morning to ensure we got the very most out of our stay. This is a great base for exploring the Peak District and the Derbyshire Dales. We can’t wait to book a return visit. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Sherif Lodge."
