Booked this hotel through Choice as I regularly use their hotels in USA. Unfortunately this hotel badly lets down the brand. The room was shabby, smelly and dark. The view from the window was a scrap yard of old vehicles. Choice website advertised a laundry, there wasn’t one and the manager, who could barely speak English, gave me an incoherent explanation about getting a new machine. To his credit though, he did do my washing in the staff machine, however I specifically asked that he did not put my jeans in the dryer but he did! I had to borrow a hair dryer from reception which then shorted out, went cold then hot again. The hot tap was nice and hot but the cold tap was also hot! The shower floor was dirty and there was paint on the floor. The walls and doors were bashed and grubby. We had to open the window when we entered the room as the smell was so bad. The bed and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Am so disappointed that Choice allow this standard of hotel under their brand.
