馬爾特拉尼查博得城堡飯店(Chambres d'Hôtes Château de Martragny)

Prachtige camping, met grote- en kleine plekken; allen voor dezelfde prijs. Kavel 109 magnifiek, groot met uitzicht op het chateau. Mooi winkeltje met vers brood, helaas pas om 9 uur open. Goede uitvalsbasis om de invasiestranden en Bayeux te ontdekken. Prima restaurant, maar zwaar onderbezet. Minpunten: sanitair is echt niet schoon. Voor ruim 50 euro per nacht mag hier veel meer aandacht aan besteed worden.

Gelegen rondom een kasteeltje ligt de camping met een redelijk zwembad. De plekken naast oprijlaan zijn niet de beste. Toiletgebouw bij receptie zijn net opgeknapt. Er is een goed restaurant met een ruim aanbod. Het is ook een prima uitvalsplek voor Normandië. Zeker een aanrader, maar niet goedkoop.

We have just returned from a week @ Chateau de Martragny... what an absolute delight! A relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Great amenities for kids and adults alike. The swimming pool and area are beautiful - and what a backdrop! Lots of people seemed to stay 'en route' to somewhere else - we stayed for a week and didn't tire of the campsite. Days out at Arromanche, Asnelles, Bayeux, Honfleur and Deauville made the trip even more memorable. But the best bit was always getting back to the campsite and relaxing in the lovely surroundings. Even a storm and a couple of flooded tents (entirely our fault!) didn't dampen our spirits. The 'bailing out' just added to the adventure ... Talking of water, the shower block was modern, clean and always with hot water and lots of loo roll - the important things! A few tips: - Think about where you would like your pitch - would ask for a pitch near the chateau/pool, not on the driveway (although you probably have more space here) - Make sure you are at the well-stocked shop 08:55 for when it opens at 09:00 to get your pick of the delicious pastries and baguettes - The restaurant opens at 5pm - it goes get busy so arrive early if you need to get kids to bed - but we were in no rush and enjoyed the tasty meals (moules and burgers highly recommended - the pizzas were also a big hit!) - and the waitress, Cecile(?) is an absolute joy and runs around ensuring everyone is kept happy! - Adults - if you want a quiet swim, make sure you go for an early morning dip when the pool opens @ 9am and it is super quiet and heavenly in the morning sunshine - until the kids descend around 10am! (it is heated to about 23-24 degrees, slightly chilling when you first get in but glorious when you get going - and worth the initial brrrrr ....) Would highly recommend ...

Quiet and beautifully set in the grounds of a small chateau. Great amenities. Restaurant good and reasonably priced. Small pool (apparently heated but it was chilly!) And room to sit around it. We arrived before uk schools finished so was quiet. Quaint little shop with all essentials including croissants and baguettes fresh every morning 😊. Very friendly staff team. Highly recommended

Nice château, some pitches have hedging to provide privacy but the majority did not so spacing between pitches is a bit tight. A new facilitis block and another not so new but clean. Good shop and excellent restaurant that is run by a humorous manager.

We stayed for 7 days to visit the D-Day beaches and memorials. The location is perfect. 30 minutes from the ferry at Caen and no more than 30 minutes from any of the beaches and museums etc. Motorhomers, if you don't want to take you van out every day then you definitely need a car. This is a very French campsite, quirky in some ways but lovely. The pitches are a good size and ours were relatively flat and very well maintained as was the whole place. We were able to get on to our pitches at 09.00 in the morning after arriving on the overnight ferry and you can park how you want with very few rules. The site is beautifully quiet and peaceful and has a very good shop (fresh bread and croissants), a laundry room and restaurant/bar which sold good food and beer at reasonable prices. There is also a fishing lake and small swimming pool. The showers were hot, clean and well maintained. Everything worked as it should. The staff and service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Wat een fijne plek was dit! Naast het feit dat het een prachtige locatie is, heeft de camping fijne voorzieningen. Een heerlijk zwembad, bescheiden gelegen. Verder een visvijver en een tennisbaan. Ook dagelijks (in de zomer) een activiteit voor de kids zoals totebag maken of een viswedstrijd. Op de camping is een winkel voor vers brood (pain au raisin is een aanrader) en andere benodigdheden. Verder een restaurant voor de avond, aanrader is de escalope de calvados. Die kan de kok heerlijk maken. In de omgeving kan je de invasie stranden bekijken en een aanrader is ook Bayeux om slechts 10 minuten afstand.

Zeer mooie en gunstig gelegen camping. Veel ruimte voor je vouwwagen, tent en of caravan. Langs de oprijlaan zijn diverse plekken wat een mooi beeld geeft als de oprijlaan oprijdt. Lekker restaurant, prima bediening. Kortom hier gaan we zeker nog een keer terug komen.

Campeggio bellissimo immerso nella natura; silenzio e pace a qualunque ora. Viaggiando con dei bambini abbiamo apprezzato la presenza di campo da calcio, campo da tennis , da pallavolo, piscina, area giochi. Sono a disposizione degli ospiti racchette da Ping pong, da tennis, bocce ecc… Utile la presenza di un piccolo shop dove, tra l’altro, ogni mattina si possono acquistare baguette e croissant senza alcuna prenotazione. C’è un grazioso ristorante gestito da due uomini molto disponibili (siamo arrivati molto tardi ma hanno aperto lo shop per poterci dare un adattatore della presa elettrica). Assolutamente consigliato!
