Tolle Gegend, saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft und exzellente Gastgeber. Das gemeinsame Frühstück mit Smalltalk haben wir als einmalig empfunden. Vielen Dank euch beiden.

Nous venons d’arriver dans notre « suite ». Accueil parfait et chaleureux. Suite très grande, très bien équipée. Petit déjeuner inclus comprenant café, lait jus d’orange, gâteaux, beurre confiture… Je conseille très vivement pour une pause au calme !

My daughter booked into this place for the day before new years eve, turned up and male owner refused her and her doctor partner their room because they had a two year old child. With no other accommodation available they had to drive, at 7.30pm, 4 hours on to Christchurch. I just booked on TripAdvisor and it allowed me to book with a child. I went to the Goldfields Suites official site and there is no mention of "no children." I mean, who has rules like "no children" for a start? In my opinion this is a disgrace, considering the time they arrived and the impossibility of booking anything else so close to new years, They could have made an exception in my opinion. Poor. Angry Grand father.

Goldfield Suites provided understated luxury in a beautiful, natural West Coast setting. Our one-bedroom bungalow was really well appointed - there clearly had been a lot of upgrading undertaken in the last 2 or 3 years. Andrew and Jolene made us feel really at home, and we enjoyed interacting with other guests over dinner. In a 3-week South Island holiday where we stayed at 9 different accommodations, this was definitely the pick of the bunch. Given the standard of accommodation provided, Goldfield Suites represented good value and we definitely recommend it.

Goldfield suites is a real find. Comfy self contained accomodation in a lovely rural setting. We took the dinner option and had a lovely evening with Mike and Jolene. Highly recommend doing this, great food and company. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed star gazing. If you want a relaxing getaway, stay for a while or if like us you are looking for an overnight stop it is a fantastic option. The beds were really comfy too and the shower was great. Not sure when we will be back but will definitely stay again.

Had a lovely few days at the goldfield suites. Jolene and Andrew are great hosts and we had a lovely evening at one of their informal BBQs with other guests. Food was amazing and plentiful!!!! Accommodation is very comfortable , nicely furnished and well equipped. Would definitely return ourselves and highly recommend to others.

A paradies to relax from all the walking and sightseeing we did before and afterwards. All clean and personally decorated. We had a lovely, delicious BBQ with Andy and Jolene, our hosts, although we hadn't booked in advance. A place to come back for more than only one night! Thank you 😊

Einfach unglaublich gut !
Auf unserer Neuseeland Rundreise war dieser Aufenthalt bei Goldfield Suites mit Abstand das Beste was wir erlebt haben. Manchmal wird man dafür belohnt wenn man auch Unterkünfte die wenige Km Abseits des Highway liegen mit einbezieht. Es war alles absolute Spitze. Wir haben echt bedauert das wir nach zwei Tagen schon wieder fahren mussten. Liebe Jolene, liebe Andrew ihr macht einen wirklich fantastischen Job.
