Beautiful Riad away from the hustle and bustle in Marrakesh. The atmosphere was relaxed and much needed after the busy streets of Marrakesh. Staff were amazing and hotel was kept immaculate. Pool was definitely needed with the heat which our kids enjoyed and was very clean. Aircon in the room was a life saver in the heat. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always happy to help. Thanks for making our experience a great one. We will definitely be back.

Riad Banatti was a decent, comfortable stay but they have dishonest management and staff. While many of the tourist spots do lend itself to scamming, I thought it would be appropriate to share the experience here. One of the front desk workers overcharged ($15) for a cab ride to another riad, which should have been $5 - while not a sig difference, it’s the principle. They were also not upfront about the $20 fee for transport from the airport to the riad. When visiting Marrakech, please just make sure you ask about costs beforehand, so you don’t get scammed post-service. Also, this riad is hard to find in the medina (old city or town which is a maze of markets and riads), so you have to ask for help from a local and inevitably have to tip them. It’s frustrating when you can’t independently navigate, and then get scammed/deceived by locals.
