Nous avons récemment passé 6 nuits au Riad El Zohar. Ce fut un séjour accueillant et confortable au cœur de la médina. Pour nous, il était situé au centre de l'endroit où nous voulions explorer Marrakech. Notre formidable expérience à l'El Zohar a été étayée par le merveilleux service et l'amitié des propriétaires Allan et Malika, ainsi que par leur formidable équipe marocaine, qui ne pouvaient tous en faire assez pour nous et les autres invités. Le personnel nous a fait sentir comme si nous étions un membre apprécié de leur famille riad. À partir du moment où nous avons commencé à nous renseigner sur notre séjour jusqu'au moment de notre départ, Allan a utilisé ses vastes connaissances locales et ses relations pour garantir que notre séjour à Marrakech et au riad soit la meilleure expérience possible. Les chambres et l'ensemble du riad sont confortables et traditionnels, c'est l'expérience que nous recherchions. S'asseoir sur les toits-terrasses et admirer les toits, les sons et les monuments de Marrakech au soleil est une diversion relaxante de l'agitation de la ville. Nous avons même mangé un délicieux repas traditionnel au riad lors de notre première nuit, ce qui nous a permis de nous installer sans avoir à visiter les restaurants après notre long voyage. Nous recommandons El Zahor à ceux qui veulent goûter à un petit riad authentique et confortable de Marrakech où le service client est primordial pour tous ceux qui y travaillent. Merci Allan, Malika et tout le monde à El Zahor d'avoir rendu notre séjour à Marrakech si agréable. We recently spent 6 nights at Riad El Zohar. It was a welcoming, comfortable, stay in the heart of the Medina. For us, it was situated at the centre of where we wanted to explore in Marrakesh. Our great experience of the El Zohar was underpinned by the wonderful service and friendship of owners Allan and Malika, as well as their great band of Moroccan staff, all of whom could not do enough for us and the other guests. The staff made us feel as if we were a valued member of their riad family. From the moment that we started to enquire about staying until the point that we left Allan used his expansive local knowledge and connections to ensure our stay in Marrakesh and at the riad was the best possible experience. The rooms and the whole of the riad are comfortable and traditional which is the experience we were after. To sit on the rooftop terraces and take in the rooftops, sounds and landmarks across Marrakesh in the sun is a relaxing diversion from the hustle and bustle of the city. We even ate, a lovely traditional meal at the riad on our first night which helped us to settle in without having to check out the restaurants after our long journey. We would recommend El Zahor to those who want a taste of a small authentic comfortable Marrakesh riad where customer service is paramount to all who work there. Thank you, Allan, Malika and everyone at El Zahor for making our stay in Marrakesh so great.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful morning learning how to cook typical Moroccan dishes. We first found our way to the Raid, where we were warmly welcomed with mint tea. We then went to the local market to buy the ingredients and visit a spice stall. The following 3-4hrs were spent chopping, peeling, smelling, and tasting the 3 courses we were preparing to eat later this evening. Alain and his team were friendly and very professional, making my daughter and I feel very at home in their kitchen. We later came back to the Raid, where they had prepared a rooftop table with amazing views over the rooftops of Marrakesh. We ate our delicious meal as the sun went down and congratulated ourselves on (helping) preparing an amazing Moroccan meal of: cooked vegetable salads, beef with quince tagine accompanied by 3x cooked couscous and apple and cinnamon pancakes for dessert. Alain also joined us, providing 60+ years of his experience travelling and living in Morocco. My daughter and I felt so welcome and relaxed. Thankyou for a wonderful Morrocan experience and a definite highlight of our stay.

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at Riad el Zohar. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and helpful showing us where to change our money and how to navigate the city to get the best from our stay. The riad itself is beautiful and we particularly enjoyed our first night meal cooked by the staff and eaten on the rooftop terrace. The food is out of this world. Allan and his wife Malika are charming and interesting and always on hand to book excursions or restaurants and advise the best places to go to make the best of your stay. I cannot recommend this highly enough and we will definitely hope to return some time in the future.

The welcome here was like no other else. Even before arriving the communication from Alan was so comprehensive and also welcoming. The food when we ate in was delicious. The rooftop terrace was wonderful and had a lovely view of the Atlas Mountains. The room was utterly charming. Really the only criticism I could give was the bed was hard. Now this is a personal preference I like. A softer bed.

My partner Tom and I had an amazing stay here! Allan and his team were so welcoming, the rooms were stunning and so quiet. Such a beautiful place to stay. Allan was incredibly helpful in his recommendations of things to do nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed everything he recommended. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
