I am currently staying at this hotel, and I must say that it left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the design and ambiance of the hotel were simply breathtaking. The sophistication and beauty of the rooms were in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, creating a truly immersive experience. The location, too, was unparalleled, and the hotel made the best use of its prime position. However, despite these positives, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service provided by the staff. Communication between the hotel staff and guests was noticeably lacking. Important updates and events were only announced on Instagram, leaving many staff members uninformed about the happenings within the hotel. This lack of coordination resulted in confusion and frustration as we found ourselves unaware of available amenities or the current menu offerings. One of the major drawbacks was the disinterest shown by the staff towards the guests. While the hotel was exclusively for adults, the adjacent beach seemed to attract people from all over, which impacted the serene and exclusive atmosphere. To add to the disappointment, the hotel staff paid little attention to the beachgoers, appearing disengaged and uninterested in catering to their needs. It was disheartening to observe the lack of personal touch and genuine care that should be expected from a luxury establishment. The music experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the pool area offered a perfect and relaxing musical backdrop, the beach area suffered from inconsistencies. On some days, loud disco music with heavy bass blared as early as 8:00 in the morning, disrupting any hopes of tranquility. On other days, pleasant and soothing summery tunes would play, befitting a 5-star relaxation haven. This inconsistency in the musical atmosphere added to the overall inconsistency of the hotel's identity. It is evident that a considerable amount of thought had been put into the hotel's design, but unfortunately, the same level of consideration does not seem to extend to defining what the hotel truly wants to be. Moreover, it is apparent that minimal effort had been invested in training the staff adequately, resulting in a lackluster guest experience. In conclusion, this hotel possesses the potential to be one of the world's finest, thanks to its exceptional location and captivating design. However, it falls short due to poor management and the disruptive activities of neighboring establishments. While I genuinely wanted to love this hotel, the issues with service, communication, and inconsistency left me feeling unsatisfied. With some improvements in management and a focus on training and coordination, this hotel could truly become a world-class destination.

Me and the wife stayed here our first and last time. We stayed for 2 out of 7 nights then moved back to Icmeler for our last 5 nights. The live band on for 2 nights were so loud we thought they were in our room on the 3rd floor so i can”t imagine how bad the 1st and 2nd floors must have been. Then there was a DJ on for the next 3 nights as well. When the band finished at approx 1230 am the bars loud music kicked in til late. The room was very small with very little storage and a small glass fronted fridge which shone all night. The sea-view was amazing with a fair sized balcony. Breakfast was good and plenty and typical Turkish which we liked. Some of the guests were rude and walked around as if it was a 5 star which it definitely was not. When we checked out they tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we hadn’t had and we had to show proof that we had not. Would we go back? a BIG NO

The reviews on here plus the pictures provided by Loveholidays do not represent this hotel. Please consider this review before booking. We made a mistake booking this hotel. We would never return and advise no one books this hotel. The hotel is poorly built. The doors have gaps and cut in odd shapes. You have no privacy due to these gaps. The doors are not opened by your standard modern magnetic card. You have a physical key with a card attached to slot into the electric. This way of opening the door isn’t the issue. The issue is in night. If you enter your room and want to lock the door. You can’t see the key hole because the card attached to the key needs to go into the power! We experienced a power cut whilst at the hotel and there’s no emergency lighting in the hotel. We had to walk round a totally dark hotel using our phone light as torches. If you over 5ft 8 and want to sit on the toilet, good luck. There is a wall right in front of the toilet so you will be sat at an angle guaranteed. You will see from the pictures how poorly built this hotel is. The food is the same each night. Intact the food is reused and made into other dishes. One evening there is pasta, the next evening it is the same pasta with cheese on top. We asked one of the staff if the food is reused and they confirmed it! The hotel is advertised as all inclusive but doesn’t include ‘all’. We queried this and was told only ‘ultra inclusive’ includes all. The all inclusive doesn’t include any known brands. The spirits are limited. There’s no cocktails. You have to pay for Turkish coffee. You are served small glasses with ice. This makes no logical sense. You constantly have to ask for another drink. You are not allowed to enter the restaurant with a bikini. The hotel is so boring. There is no entertainment. The music is slow versions of actual songs. The WiFi connection is very poor so you can’t even listen to Apple Music or use your phone. You can connect but can’t use the internet. So slow. There is one iron in the whole hotel. You have to wait for next guest to bring it back. The hotel are connected with Jimmy aka Ahmed from Mavisel who mis-sold us trips. When asking them to connect us with him. They wouldn’t. There is a bar connected to the hotel but is not part of it. You have to pay for it. There is a fridge in the room which had 3 bottles of water on arrival. This was never refilled throughout the stay. I hope you make an informed decision based on this review.

Aklımızda isimleri kalan Birkan, Derya, Yağmur, Beyza, Gizem ve Serkan’a (tatlı konusunda müthiş bir şef) çok teşekkür ederiz. Barda; Alperen, Oğuzhan, Damla ve Sadık gerçekten işinin ehli insanlar. Me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at Orka Lotus Beach for 7 nights in October 2023. The moment we arrived we were impressed by the grand entrance and met with a warm smile and welcomed by a young man at the front desk. We grabbed a drink from the bar while we waited for our room and soon as our drinks were in hand, we were whisked away to our room on a golf caddy which was an exiting first impression and the gentleman escorting us jumped at a selfie opportunity! He took our bags all the way to our room and showed us the amenities. The room was comfortable and had all you would want or need from a hotel room, it was homely, stylish, comfortable and clean. We had a land view room which wasn’t all that bad as we got to see the chickens every morning, although I would consider upgrading to sea view next time as the views are breathtaking. There are a wide variety of beautiful flowers around the hotel. The hotel is built around trees and the trees are incorporated into the design and architecture. Bilal, the manager greeted us in the restaurant on the first night and remembered us by name throughout our stay. He was friendly and approachable and quick to help with recommendations for shopping, transport and even tattoos! We felt very valued to have had this service from none other than the hotel manager… running a busy hotel with hundreds of guests and staff, to remember us and take time to get to know us was a really special touch. We enjoyed getting to know all staff, particularly around the restaurant, blue bar and in the shops below the hotel. Other guests were friendly and all complimentary of their holidays too. We won a line on the bingo on our first night which put us in high spirits and earned us a meal in the Chinese restaurant which had unreal food and humorous, friendly waiters. We also won a bike hire from the shop below and ended up loving the electric bike so much it became a regular activity! We won a free photo from the photographer, which lead to us having a lovely photoshoot experience and we ended up buying more photos as they were so beautiful. I’d really recommend booking the cabanas - this was our favourite day! Having food and drinks brought to you while soaking up the sun on your own private beach hut!!! We took snorkels out too and just had the best time. We loved both Marmaris and Icmeler but Icmeler had our hearts. We loved the shops, and BS restaurant along the beachfront if you walk towards Icmeler direction. We took a boat trip to Cleopatra island where the sea is ultra clear and there are lots of fish. Our whole holiday was honestly like a slice of paradise and we can’t wait to go back but next time with our little one, parents and siblings to show them how wonderful Orka and Icmeler is! My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights. The hotel is perfectly located, and only a few minutes walk from the beach and marina with a plethora of restaurants and beaches to choose from. The room and bathroom were very clean with daily housekeeping. The breakfast served traditional Turkish breakfast with cheeses, cured meats, eggs any style, crepes, spreads and fresh fruit n veg. The staff are the kindest and most welcoming. The hotel represents great value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! Room 206 has a balcony overlooking the street and a drying rack.
