Na positieve revieuws gelezen te hebben op de website bij TUI deze reis geboekt met ons gezin van 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. Wat een grote teleurstelling was dit. Bij aankomst in de avond waren de kamers niet goed geregeld. We hadden 2 kamers geboekt en in de woonkamer waren de bedden neit goed opgemaakt. BIj de receptie wordt slecht Engels gesproken en uiteindelijk bleek dat er 3 kamers waren. Bij aankomst in de derde kamer bleek deze niet goed schoon te zijn. Leeg Cola blikje op de grond in de slaapkamer vloer plakte in de slaapkamer. Omdat het al laat was de kids op bed gelegd. In de ochtend meteen beklag gedaan bij de recptie dat het niet goed schoon was. Er werd gezegd dat er schoongemaakt zozu worden maar helaas. Ook is hier het befaamde handdoekje leggen en kom je om half 9 mag je blij zijn als 1 ligbed heb. Ook rondom en het zwembad aanzich is vies. Vloeren worden niet schoongemaakt, zwembad zwarte randen van het alg. Glijbaan en trap naar glijbaan algvorming. Savonds wordt er niet opgeruimd. Wanneer je smorgens bij het wembad komt overal peuken, mcdonalds verpakkingen, cocktail glazen, blikjes. As van sigaretten op de tafels. Er verblijven een hoop Ieren en Engelesen in het appartment en die zijn over het algemeen erg luidruchtig. We hebben ook een klacht gemaakt bij de host en die heeft meermaals verzocht om onze kamer goed schoon te maken dit is echter pas op woensdag gebeurd terwijl we op vrijdag waren aangekomen. Al met al een smerige locatie om je vakantie door te brengen

Er werden random spullen gejat door de schoonmaaksters. Aangegeven bij de receptie die ontkennen gelijk. Elke dag werd er 1 stuk gejat zodat het zogenaamd niet op zou vallen. Ook van andere bezoekers worden er spullen gejat. Ook dat wordt keihard ontkent

*AVOID* We went away in October here & it was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed ! I’ve been turkey a lot of this place has put me off going there for a while . Staff in the bar were rude and disgusting, changed the price of drinks so many times & when approached they didn’t like it, they lied and done this to many people staying there . Room was basic and very dirty . Pool area nice but the other sister hotel was so much nicer . Self catering but had to eat your own food & drink in your room god forbid you took it out. Honestly please cancel your booking & go somewhere else ..

Spacious apartment well worth the price we payed. When on holiday the apartment is just a base we don’t cook or spend much time in the apartment as we eat out and spend our days exploring or at the beach. We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat as we had everything we needed and it was in a great location. I feel that people have given this place a lot of unnecessary bad reviews, honestly don’t know what people are expecting for £20-£25 a night. This is an amazing price for what you get. We are already planning our next trip and would love to stay at the CANDAN apartments again ✈️ ☀️🌊

The hotel is ok. Spacious and clean. The staff let people run wild all day and night. Solid leather foot balls being booted and thrown around the pool. My 1 year was hit daily and i complained daily even had arguments with guest because of this yet. Everyday same thing. No sun beds people would be up at 5am putting towels down then leaving for half a day, despite notice being put up to not do. it wasn't enforced The slide a death trap cracked stairs screws not screwed down properly. Teens abusing it. Teeth being knocked out legs arms broke all in a 2 week stay I witnessed. Yet still no response from management to atleast control something. The Bar is £5 a pint and £3 for 150ml soft drink. £10 for spirits. The shop in the hotel is also very expensive. Bring your own toilet roll. Then hide the packet as the cleaners replace your full roll with empty tubes. They also steal your food from fridge Ice creams drinks etc. The food is also quite expensive. The air con is £50 a week. The beds are hard and the sheets on the bed are strange. Although soft they make noise when you move on them which wakes u up. The pool also doesn't get cleaned well. Small stones in the same place of baby pool and filth in parts of the big pool. Ants and cockroches daily in public area. No sweeping of rooms just mopping. You will smell fish if you are in A block huge fish market next door. Block B you won't smell it but will defo hear the large volume of traffic. Personally I wouldn't stay hear again this was my second visit to this hotel. I stayed hear in 2009 its looks the same no update internally just new paint job. It was lovely 15 year ago. It has changed as of 2024. Staff are unhelpful and do not care. The whole of marmaris is now filthy and about money. Its not cheap or clean. Clothes are cheaper than food and drink. Yet supermarkets sell 3litre coca cola for a pound. 40lira. The local restaurants are expensive and small portions. Average £15 for a meal £5 for a drink. Some more expensive £20 pizza and pasta.

They just basic you have for air conditioning only get WiFi in reception area no kids meals on the menu lady on reception needs staff training need to take toilet paper cause only put one in room to do your stay don't leave them lie about cause clean staff take away got pay for tv
