尼德勒斯旅舍(Needles Lodge)

Cela fait la deuxième fois que nous séjournons au Needles Lodge. La sympathie de Denis et Gail était toujours au rendez-vous. Le personnel est très souriant et fort prévenant. Les repas sont toujours aussi bons et les vins et les apéritifs aussi appréciés. Mentions spéciales au Badsberg conseillé par Denis et au Crystal Gin tonic plébiscité par Gail ! Mangoustes, kudus et zèbres sont venus nous rendre visite sur la terrasse. Nous nous sommes promenés le long de la rivière Crocodile... Contrairement à notre dernière expérience, peu de crocos visibles, mais une dizaine d'éléphants ont accompagné notre promenade durant plus de deux heures, dont un éléphant à moins de 5 mètres de la clôture séparant Marloth Park du Kruger. Une chose est certaine, nous y reviendrons, avec l'espoir de, qui sait, nous installer un jour à Marloth Park !

Un petit paradis juste à côté des entrées du Park Kruger. L'accueil est chaleureux et notre hôte est au petit soin. Parle couramment français, anglais, hollandes, afrikaner...Le personnel est charmant. Le lodge est spacieux et le mobilier de qualité, entouré d'animaux sauvages, spectacle tous les soirs... Les chambres sont aussi spacieuses très confortables. Très bons diners de spécialités locales, portions confortables, vins de pays aux délieux cépages ! Bref, un excellent moment !

Cadre reposant. Lodge décoré avec soin. Personnel sympathique et attentionné. Accueil de grande qualité par Denis, le maître des lieux; Nous avons passé une bien agréable soirée en sa compagnie.

Wir waren auf unserer Südafrika-Rundreise für 6 Tage Gast in dieser sehr persönlich vom Inhaber Dennis und seinem „guten Geist“ Lyn geführten Lodge und sind beeindruckt von der Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Teams - Kompliment an alle Beteiligten, insbesondere auch an die jungen Guides John und Tammy! Absolutes Highlight waren die ganztägigen Game Drives, durchgeführt direkt von der Lodge im offenen Landrover, in den besonders wildreichen südlichen Teil des Kruger Nationalpark, wo wir neben unzähligen anderen Tieren auch sämtliche Big 5 zu sehen bekamen, besonders eindrucksvoll ein Rudel Wildhunde auf der Jagd nach Impalas; die Lodge selber liegt im Marloth Park, ca. 30 Minuten vom nächsten Gate zum Kruger Park entfernt, mit frei herumlaufenden Giraffen, Zebras, Kudus und Warzenschweinen, die bis an die Terrasse der Lodge herankommen und einen zum Frühstück oder Dinner besuchen; die Lodge hat lediglich 8 Zimmer, entsprechend familiär ist die Athmosphäre; das Dinner wird gemeinsam mit den Gästen aus aller Welt und den Besitzern auf der offenen Terrasse eingenommen, alle Sonderwünsche werden berücksichtigt; Frühstück und Dinner sind reichlich und von guter Qualität; ein reichhaltiges Angebot an nicht alkoholischen und gepflegten alkoholischen Getränken verfügbar; die Zimmer verfügen über einen hohen Standard und ein großes Bad mit Wanne und separater Dusche; alles in allem ein ausgezeichnetes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus, in das wir gerne zurückkomme

Wat een geweldige Lodge, prima kamers met (ongevaarlijk) wild gewoon in de tuin. Altijd boeken met diner, vreselijk lekker en vreselijk gezellig. Wij hadden het geluk dat een nachtaapje even kwam kijken wat er aan de hand was. Lynn en Dennis, bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en ontvangst.

What a fabulous start Needles was for a Special Birthday Trip! The lodge is a real gem with every element in place for the perfect stay. Nothing is too much trouble - every member of the team go out of their way to make your visit special. The rooms are lovely with nice touches such as Egyptian cotton bed linen, home made cookies, mozzy nets and efficient air conditioning (the temperature was over 40 degrees during our stay). Denis and Lyn are brilliant hosts. All guests eat dinner together which creates a family ambience. The food is prepared to an extremely high standard by an amazing kitchen team who love it when you stick your head around their door to say hi. Dinner and breakfast plates are hot and nothing is too much trouble. During our stay Zebra and Kudu came up to the lodge to say hello - with treats as a reward! The lodge has an excellent wine list and prices are a very pleasant surprise! The game drives were another highlight. The 2 guides, Glen and Willem, went out of their way to ensure that we saw as much as possible. Thanks to Willem we can now comfortably identify at least 10 types of poo! Glen extended our day with him to return to where a male lion had been spotted. Kruger is like Jurassic Park! You never know what you will come across next - as you can see from the photos attached. As someone who very rarely writes a review, everything you read about Needles is the truth. It really is that 'Once in a Blue Moon' find! We would highly recommend Needles for a visit. Our time at Needles was beyond amazing! This place is a slice of heaven very close to Kruger Park. The lodge itself is stunning, blending luxury with nature effortlessly. The food is absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat (3 courses every night!). It feels really surreal, being completely immersed in nature, we even had breakfast while zebras, kudus and pumbas stroll by and got very close to us. All the experiences were set up for us. Safaris, nature walks, the trip to Mozambique, the panorama tour! Everything was taken care of, so we could just soak it all in. The staff is super friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. The chefs and the waiters are incredible and our rooms were always clean and tidy. Overall, this lodge is a gem. If you want an incredible safari experience without skimping on comfort, this is it. We'll definitely be back.

What a beautiful experience from start to finish.. Staff were incredible - food was world class - and the environment is extremely restful and authentic. Highlight were the regular animal visits at meal times - nothing like having dinner with a herd of zebras!! Highly recommended!!!

Great place, amazing food and fantastic team! Location is nice, animal visits and animation😉 The facilities are clean, beautiful and very comfortable. The safari tour is the best thing to do. 2 days is recommended. Keep up the good work. Thank you🙏
