Wow, Wow and Wow !!! What a truly delightful find in this beautiful little town. From the minute I walked in I was made to feel welcome, my room was spotless, comfy and adorable. Breakfast was superb on every level. Huge "Thank You" to Imogen, Naomi and Elisha for your wonderful hospitality during my stay. Would I highly recommend, absolutely !!! Huge pat on the back to all the staff and management, your hard work and dedication shines through !!

Updated hotel c8mins walk from Olten Station offering reasonable value for money by Swiss standards. Super clean, with gratis mineral water as well. Good breakfast selection, but check in was a little protracted as the desk was unstaffed (at c1900). All resolved eventually.

Had booked two rooms for family trip. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Hotel is an old building so had some charm in places. Food was better than average and bar area suitable for families. No loud music or sports bar scenario so made conversations easy. Will stay here again.

The food in the restaurant wasn’t great when we visited and the speed was pretty slow. The rooms themselves were a good size but no one had a great nights sleep due to creaking floors and loud plumbing..but it’s an old building.

An old fashioned hotel, run by the owners as far as we could see. Staff were helpful and friendly, and concerned enough that when we fell ill (unfortunately) they asked how we were.

Hotel was very nice , we were on top floor which i found difficult to get up the stairs as it was uneven given the hotel is oldie wordly but room was very nice, enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our one night stay in Marlborough. The Castle and Ball is situated right in the town centre and was ideal.
