Very welcoming hotel, we arrived early and asked to leave luggage, room was ready so we went straight up. Very nice comfortable room, lovely bed, slept very well. Nice touches with cocktail in the room and a record player. Pantry available on the second floor. The cold water tap was brilliant as we have chilly bottles we take everywhere so the top up was easy. Staff very friendly and helpful, Breakfast was 10 out of 10. Didn’t try the Pearly Cow as had another booking however it was full when we went past. As long as the room is clean, bed is comfortable and shower is hot I’m happy, No 42 had this and more. Look forward to returning.

This was a high quality hotel at a reasonable rate. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were 5-Star Quality to the highest standard. The Pantry was quirky and a nice touch. The food in the Restaurant was excellent. The Sunset view from the restaurant was an extra bonus. Can't wait to try the other hotels within this group.

Our stay at the Guesthouse in Margate was really wonderful. We had a lookout suite room which was really beautiful inside, excellent interiors and beautifully clean. The view across the beach was lovely. The mini pantry is a really great touch and makes the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to others.

My wife and I had the most amazing end of year break here. Wonderful room and facilities that provided so much comfort with an amazing view of Margate beach. The breakfast and dinner we had were delicious and the service was brilliant. So attentive, polite and welcoming. Also, the car parking option was so helpful and gave us peace of mind. We also had spa treatments which for me were the best I can ever remember having. Ellie was my therapist and she was informative and super-friendly and made the experience so easy for me. I felt amazing afterwards and would happily return for another session! Can’t wait to return to Margate and I’m sure we will be booking at Number 42 again.

Well what cant I say about my experience at No.42 by GuestHouse. I stay away for business at least twice a week and this is with out doubt the best hotel that I have stayed in in 2024. I will start by mentioning the great service delivered by the staff. They were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I had a lovely stay. The staff went above and beyond at this quirky boutique hotel. The quality of the food was excellent and again a great service. My room was absolutely beautiful with finishing touches that I have not seen before. There was a record player in the room with albums to choose from. There was also a old fashioned radio that was on when you arrived in the room. The quality of the bed linen and towels was exceptional. There was also extra touches a beautiful free standing bath with beautiful body lotions etc. Robe and slippers. I had the best night sleep and I do not normally sleep well whilst away. On my floor outside in the hall way they also had a Candy station where you could help yourself to old fashioned sweets, cookies and fruit. There was a fridge with different flavoured waters. They also have a roof top bar which I didnt visit on this occasion. Breakfast again had the best local produce and was made to order not a buffet. I also needed a taxi the next morning which was ordered by the front desk and arrived within 5 minutes. Thank You so much to all the staff. I can not wait to come here again next year.

This was a return visit for us, we enjoyed it so much the first time, the formula for success is very simple, others could follow it: stylish, spotless a bit quirky.....and employ the friendliest and most attentive team. The rooms are lovely, the record player is a lovely touch, the panty is great fun and like being in your kitchen at home for finding a snack. The restaurant at the hotel is first class, but there are other great places to eat - even next door, if you want a change but it is raining! Recommended, give it a try.
