"I stayed in apartment 243, the air conditioning appears to have never been clean, it is sweet and muffy, and it has a deep noise, the shower was not closed right and it was pinging out. The apartment is located next to a street that is extremely moving. The whole night passed cars, motorcycles and trucks. As the window is of aluminium, it has no isolation, i.e. every vehicle I passed I was waking up. I don't recommend!"

"The São Bento, like the town of Marabá, was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable, friendly, good value. Breakfast until 10h00, limited dinner menu until 23h00. Busy bar with happy-hour chopp next to reception open until 21h00. There's a churrascaria adjacent, a Burger King, and a great café around the corner. Marabá is very spread out. The hotel is in Nova Marabá - the commercial Nova Cidade and the old riverport Cidade Pioniera are 3-4 km away. We only went there to ride the very efficient Ferrovia Carajás passenger train down from São Luís - we're very glad we did."
