A noise so loud a could not sleep or hear the TV The first morning, at around 8am, a loud noise started coming from the walls of the bathroom. It sounded like someone was drilling into the wall with an impact drill. It continued for over 45 minutes and was still going when I left the room. I reached out to America's Best Value Inn Corporate. I received an automated response email apologizing, saying they would contact the location within 48 hours. The following morning the nose did not repeat but, while checking out I asked the staff what was the noise. All I got was blank stares and "what nose was that?" "we didn't hear anything". The nose was loud enough that I couldn't sleep or hear the TV. I still have not received a response from ABVI corporate.

A total dump! This is an old run down inn that needs major renovations. The bathtub became stopped up on my first night. I was not able to take a bath or shower for the remainder of my stay. A roach was crawling on the floor in the bathroom. I was afraid to put my luggage on the floor and kept it elevated the entire time I was there. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable you can feel the box springs. The front desk folks are rude. I asked for a receipt at the end of my stay. The man was rude and acted as if I was disrupting whatever he was doing in the back room. He refused to give me a receipt. Upon check in I paid with a different car and he charged me $40 without telling me because he said I used a card different from the one booked. Please do not stay here. Go elsewhere. I also think people are living here other than hotel guests. I was uncomfortable the entire time
