All such requests are noted in advance and are subject to availability on the day of arrival. Our apartments come back into inventory gradually throughout the day as they are cleaned and inspected. It is therefore possible that at the exact time of your arrival, there were no higher-floor apartments ready for allocation. That said, your request should certainly have been checked properly and explained clearly to you at the desk, and I am sorry if this was not handled in a helpful or reassuring manner.I also apologise for the maintenance issues you experienced in your apartment, particularly the oven and the shower temperature. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with our maintenance team to ensure these matters are fully addressed.We truly regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially in comparison to your stay at Staycity Edinburgh.
