I read some reviews which included complaints about loud music. I contacted the hotel regarding this and they said they would put me on a floor where I wouldn’t hear the music. I was on the 11th floor, the music is so loud it’s ridiculous and there is no way anyone can sleep through this. The hotel should be honest and transparent about the clubs at the hotel. The clubs are obviously more important than guest staying at the hotel, the hotel was was really empty not much guest staying there at all and I can see why. I was also on a no smoking floor and had to complain about the cigarette smoke twice! The staff act as if they can not enforce any rules. Only stay here if you want to go to the clubs and eat in the restaurants that smell like stale cigarette smoke. The breakfast is buffet style nothing special but is probably the best thing about this terrible club (sorry I mean hotel). Management if you read this please have the decency to inform guests who may want to book, that it is A CLUB AND NOT A HOTEL! Hotel guests are secondary, I’m guessing those from the clubs find a friend and book a room to spend the night! Can’t see what other benefits this hotel would have for a club that plays loud music until 5am.

Staying at this awful hotel felt like PURGATORY. There was constant loud noise from inside and outside the hotel. This made it impossible to get any sleep. I had requested a quiet room and as soon as I entered the room I could hear the loud rumbling of machinery. My room was overlooking a roof containing more than a dozen air conditioning units creating a constant loud mechanical noise. I asked at reception to move room, but was told this was their quietest room. From 9pm until after 10am everyday there we’re extremely loud noises from a night club in the hotel. It was impossible to listen to anything in my room (even with noise cancelling headphones) or sleep (with expensive silicon ear plugs). The bass and loud clanging noises reverberated throughout the hotel constantly. My room was at the end of the hotel and 6 floors above the nightclub so I can’t imagine how much worse the noise was in the rest of the rooms. Preventing people to sleep through playing loud music is a recognised form of torture and after suffering at this hotel for 6 nights I understand why it is so effective. It totally ruined my trip to Bahrain. It is very noticeable that there is no mention of this nightclub in the ******* listing, but there is a blatant lie about room soundproofing. There are other minor issues with the hotel such as poor room design and a poor breakfast, but it is the constant noise makes this hotel uninhabitable in my opinion. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
