And this past weekend, I stumbled upon one of those rare gems that make you pause, breathe deeper, and whisper to yourself, “This… this is special.” Let me introduce you to Hotel June Malibu—a boutique hideaway with only 13 rooms, tucked between coastal beauty and warm California sunshine. But don’t let the size fool you. What it lacks in scale, it more than makes up for in soul. The rooms? Thoughtfully designed, with those subtle touches that whisper good taste instead of shouting trends. Think: crisp linens, warm light, and materials that feel like someone cared. The kind of care you rarely find in cookie-cutter resorts. The staff? Some of the kindest I’ve met. Genuinely attentive, beautifully relaxed—like Malibu itself. From check-in to breakfast by the pool, everything felt effortless, kind, and warmly human. Speaking of the pool: it’s not just a place to dip your toes—it’s a sanctuary. Hotel Overcharged Customer without Notification I was overcharged by $70, and even until now, after I've sent 3 emails, still no reply.

We loved Hotel June while visiting Malibu. It was outside of town so not so hectic. We felt safe and the customer service was great but we really didn't need any help as everything was as expected or exceeded our expectations. We loved the small quiet pool area for relaxing and felt it was a great place and good value compared to more expensive properties in town.

This Malibu property is a rare find—quiet, private, and perfect for families. While there is some noise from PCH, everything else exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

This place lacks most everything. The staff is unwelcoming and the room was like an unfinished garage. The price is utterly outrageous for what you get, which is not much. No view on busy Pacific Coast Highway. No real options for food. The only good thing I can say is they accept pets.
