Friendly staff, marvelous view, outstanding service, nice room

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans ce magnifique resort de luxe 5*. La chambre était spacieuse, très propre, super bien équipée et joliment décorée, lit très confortable, salle de bain semi-ouverte est un plus inattendu, chambre avec grande terrasse et jacuzzi privatif. La plage est paradisiaque, sable blanc, eau turquoise. Si vous souhaitez vous reposer et relaxer cet hôtel est idéal. Le resort est entouré d’un jardin luxuriant, il y a une salle de sport, grande piscine avec 2 jacuzzis et beaucoup de transats autour de la piscine ou sur la plage. L’hôtel possède un restaurant avec une cuisine raffinée et délicieuse, chapeau bas pour le chef de cuisine qui nous a régalé tous les jours ! Les équipes et le directeur sont très accueillants et souriants, toujours au service des clients. Bravo à eux car c’est avant tout grâce à eux que cet endroit est exceptionnel! Un grand merci à Endi et Fahmi de nous avoir accompagné le long de notre séjour ❤️. Nous allons retourner à Seven Secrets sans aucun doute.

I loved the stay at this wonderful resort! The secluded location makes it a hidden gem worth experiencing. Noticed that they have rebranded to Seven Secrets by Hanging Gardens just as expected their service is excellent. The room is so convenient, the jacuzzi, the pool, the beach, basically, the whole experience is just so magical. I suggest to choose the one with the ocean view, you wake up with wonderful scenery every morning.

Just got back from a stay at the lovely Seven Secrets Hotel in Lombok, and wow, what a gem! First off, the location is perfect – it's peaceful enough for a chill getaway but also super close to some cool local spots. Now, let's talk about that beach. Picture this: soft white sands, clear blue waters, and that calming sound of waves – it's the kind of place you'd never want to leave. As for the service? Top-notch! The Seven Secrets crew really made me feel at home. They were always on hand with a smile, keen to help out or share some local insights. All in all, if you're looking for a friendly spot in Lombok with an awesome beach vibe and great folks to make your stay special, Seven Secrets is the place to be. Big thumbs up from me!

What a stunning resort, outstanding design and room fit out, excellent restaurants and bars, a world class location right at the beach, overlooking Bali. 'The' place to watch the sunset. Had the best experience staying in Seven Secrets, was treated as a celebrity. Staff were excelent, and everyone went beyond their limits to make sure we were happy. Hotel staff is a gold of this place. Rooms are very clean and perfectly built and designed. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Beautiful beach, with black and white sand, beautiful sunsets. Can see turtles from a beach. I loved it here, instead of planned 3 nights, came back here after 3 day hiking and stayed another 4 nights. Will remember this place for a long time.

This is a quite new, well-maintained mini-resort hotel in the middle of nowhere, adjacent to a row of shanty food stalls (warungs), on a nice stretch of west-facing Lombok beach. It’s a solid hour and a half from Lombok airport and you’ll appreciate the airport transfer in a brand new vehicle, even if you’ll be struck by the juxtaposition (and perhaps engage in some self-reflection) as you look out the window at the island’s extensive poverty. The beach by the hotel is pleasant - though not “white sand”, as some have suggested. The sunsets are magnificent and a real highlight of the hotel. There was a particularly peaceful moment of total aesthetic perfection during one evening’s sunset that I absolutely treasured. The staff are all very friendly and highly attentive, with mixed levels of English. Generally enough for mutual understanding. The two minor gripes with the service are that: (a) a couple of things we’d asked about had to be followed up more than once before they materialised; and (b) food orders generally took forever to arrive. Neither issue was a big deal but, on the latter issue, I’m still mystified at how it can take 45 minutes for a meal to be brought out even on occasions when we were the only ones eating. The wifi was generally good throughout the hotel. The rooms - especially the ocean-facing rooms - are fantastic. I could happily have spent the week working away on the balcony, listening to the gentle waves and looking out over the water. The room is well-appointed, with a large, firm bed and a very pleasant private outdoor shower. It is usually serviced twice daily and the supplies of (essential) bottled water replenished. Be aware that, due to the proximity to a nearby mosque, you will likely be woken up each day (in our case at around 4.15am) by the amplified call to prayer from the local Muezzin. Not much you can do about that; you’re in Indonesia. The hotel pool is wonderful and the sun beds excellent and comfortable, though the muzak played through speakers by the beach and pool areas can be a bit much at times. The individual jacuzzis on the balcony of each room are a bit “extra” - probably a little unnecessary and over the top - but certainly not a negative. In short, the attractive marketing pictures are, indeed, a fair reflection of the hotel. In our case, we had a couple of massages included in our package and they were excellent. Kudos to the spa staff. We also booked two day trips through the hotel during our stay: - a snorkelling trip to the Gili Islands; and - a two-hour drive to a guided waterfall hike in the middle of the island, followed by a 90 minute drive to the large mosque in Mataram and another 45 minute drive to a coastal Hindu temple. The trips themselves were good but there were two issues with them. Firstly, they were bloody overpriced. 3.5 million rupiah for each trip was very expensive but we weren’t in the mood to shop around so we just went with it. Secondly, the hotel offered no

Das Luxushotel liegt in einer traumhaften Bucht mit Hausriff zum Schnorcheln. Die Mitarbeiter sind gut organiserte und sehr zuvorkommend. Vom Flughafen pick up bis check out, hat alles perfekt funktioniert. Die Küche verdient ein besonderes Lob. Alles was aus der Küche kam war exzellent.

I have thought long and hard about writing this review as there are so many good points but also things that wouldn’t make us return or recommend the hotel. The hotel is set on a beautiful stretch of beach. The snorkelling isn’t great and there is a fair amount of rubbish that they try and stay on top of. There isn’t anything in walking distance so be prepared to eat all meals in the restaurant or get a 15 minute taxi ride. Although even using the grab app taxis wouldn’t come as too far out. The hotel are lucky to have a very talented chef. All meals we had were excellent. The complimentary cocktail and canapés were appreciated and the view from the restaurant is lovely. Although we paid the most for any dinner we had throughout our whole trip from Bali and Gilli. The spa again is equal to western cost so we didn’t use it. The rooms. Very well throughout and designed. You can’t fault them. Although every room has a jacuzzi on the balcony. We personally don’t like them and when you have the sea, a beautiful pool do you really need one? The noise of people walking around above us was annoying, especially as there were only four rooms occupied so they could have put us in a room with no one above us. The occupancy of the hotel was very low. Staff told us the day we were leaving they had zero guests. This makes for a lovely quiet hotel but with no sole and atmosphere. It is very expensive to stay here by Indonesian standards. I feel they should have made the rooms at the back less luxurious without a jacuzzi and cheaper to gain more custom. The staff. All very friendly and go over and above. The General Manager was entertaining a friend during our time there and his attention was very much there. We had one hello but no conversation. In business with such low guests surely you would make the effort to engage. My only other worry is the staff were going round one evening the geckos which I find unacceptable. This hotel has priced it self out of the market in Lombok. But for the local staff I hope it survives
