The hotel's location is amazing, easy to reach al Haram.
However the check in took more than expected, the rooms are old and it needs serious renovations because at this point their high prices are only for the location not the hotel itself.

Fantastic environment and so close to Haram. No hotel will be closer to Haram Sharif.
Shopping areas and food courts nearby. Perfect place to stay for peace of mind and for focus to be on Worship and praying Salah on time etc.

I had paid high price for premium twin room Kaaba view. 2 days prior to check in i had filled pre checkin form and sent all visa and passport photos.
On arrival we found no room was available as per booking. Receptionist was rude and only became polite ehen saw btitish passport. Manager threatened to cancel our booking although it was fully paid non refundable booking. I had to accept room which had no kaaba view.

The staff at the reception and at restaurant are extremely helpful, efficient, and friendly. A special kudos to Mourad at reception who has high level of professionalism.

Very close to Haraam, staff was excellent and Sara/Zara young female waiter who had the best customer service at the coffee shop in the lobby area.
All good apart internet connection was really bad that sometimes no connection at all.

There is a big difference between Makkah Hotel and Makkah Tower. Almost made 2 separate reservations accidentally, but luckily my 2 rooms were at the hotel and not tower. Very easy access to the haram. The elevators are pretty quick compared to the swissotel. I would stay here again.
