Where do I start. The pool is closed. The fitness room is closed. They are constantly working on the salt water lines that fill the toilet toilets(At least that’s what the said) so you have to use the shower sprayer to fill the toilet, there is very questionable wiring throughout the room, stray cats are all over the property and pooped on my porch, there is no hot water in the sink, only in the shower, and I question the safety of wiring an on-demand water heater, literally in the shower. The basketball/tennis court that is advertised on the website is a parking lot. The mattresses are old and worn, and I had a spring that was poking through in one of the mattresses in my room. The sheets are equally worn and thread, bear, and mine had several holes in them. The doors still use an actual key, so you have to be mindful to lock your room when you leave, the doors do not always shut completely and you have to be mindful to make sure it is shut and latched. The hotel is obviously aware of this as they have a sign on the back of the doors that address what security will do when they find your door slightly ajar. The hotel “beach” is not something that I would recommend. There is some sand that you can walk down on near the water, but I certainly wouldn’t get in the water in this area, particularly after heavy rains. On the good side, the shuttle does meet you right at the airport when the flight comes in, and the front desk and the restaurant staff were very friendly. Past reviews have complained about the Wi-Fi and Internet, but it appears that they have put routers in each of the rooms , and there is common area Wi-Fi, and it seems to work well. It was able to support FaceTime calls home. There is a refrigerator in the room that works, and there is a supermarket very close by where you can buy things to have snacks and cold drinks in your room, and much more affordable than buying at the hotel. There is a fairly safe route to go jogging near the hotel that we mapped out at one and a quarter miles.
